Poorest Service Ever
Never go with Travelers Insurance. Sad excuse for a insurance company. Like to take your money but when it comes to helping their customers...zero.

We were shopping for auto insurance and received a good quote from Travelers. After initiating the plan, Travelers decided to add our 14 year old daughter, who doesn't drive, to our auto insurance making the premium increase. When we brought to their attention that our 14 year old isn't old enough to drive and therefore doesn't need to be insured they refused to take her off our plan and give us the rate they first quoted. How they even knew we had a daughter is beyond me. This is why everyone hates insurance companies!!!

Travelers Insurance has some of the most incompetent people I have ever had to deal with. This is who my dad had as his insurance on his autos ...he passed away and after several phone calls and sending all the info they ask for..travelers still tried to take money out of his account...and still are sending him bills. Just last week..they wanted me to send all the info to them again. As a matter of fact travelers owes dad's estate a refund...wonder if that will ever happen ?

On May 05, 2017, I get a letter from Travelers Business Center for Offer to Reinstate for X amount of dollars plus a $20 fee. This is 2 days after they mailed the letter. I did a quick check with my bank and they confirm they mailed Travelers a check for the full amount on April 18, 2017. According to my bank it could take up to 5 days for them to receive my check. I now call Travelers to confirm that my bank did mail them the check on the above dates. Travelers now tells me they did receive the check on May 08,2017. This is two weeks after my bank tells me the check could take. This is not the first time I have received a reinstate letter from Travelers. On January 07, 2017, I received a cancelation notice because I owed $15. To reinstate my policy, I was to send them a check for $35. Again, this is two days after receiving the letter. This is one month after my bank mailed out the check for $15. When I called to talk to a customer service rep I told him that I mailed out the check and gave him the address. He then told me that was the wrong address, my reply was I have been mailing my payments to this address since 2008. We talked for a few minutes and in so many words he called me a liar and my reply to him was why would I lie to him. He then told me it's a good thing we live in America, what! Because I also have Home Owners Insurance with them I decide to ask when I would I would receive my statement? She tells me that the statement was sent to the bank who holds my mortgage. I ask why would you send the statement to a bank because I don't have a mortgage. Traveler also has a Worker Comp side, are they messing with me because I have an ongoing claim with them since 2013? I hope not. I did switch Insurance companies and now I am saving $876.00 for auto insurance $124.00 for home owners

I have never had to use my insurance before and I'm so glad I had Travelers. Their claims and liability adjusters were GREAT! Responsive, caring and professional as well as timely and informative. Keep up the good work!

When Mercury denied the claim, Travelers handled my case very well. My car damages were estimated and fixed, all Travelers's representatives are very nice and kind. I only hope that they can also settle the case with Mercury.
