They have 3or4 black girls who promise the world but all they are are call screeners. Never get through to anyone who matters. They give out fraudulent addresses to write to and letters never arrive or there is no response. They are theives and crooks who need to be sued and run out of business.

The rates offered on these accounts are extremely high and have a very high deductible. Not many procedures are covered. I only had this insurance for a few months while between jobs and it was the worst decision I have ever made. They do not pay claims on time and getting claims require making consistent phone calls. If you are looking for health insurance, you would be best off going elsewhere. Billing is inconsistent and getting someone on the phone to talk with is nearly impossible. Customer Service If you manage to get someone on the phone, you'll get the runaround, making sure to pass the buck to some other department, then just keep bouncing you around until you get weary and hang up in frustration. There is no customer service here -- they are only looking out for themselves. Available Plans Plans are expensive and deductibles are high. They make it sound like they're doing you some kind of favor, but they really aren't giving you anything at all.

The only time I went to a doctor, they didn't help pay for anything and I got charged with all the bills.. They mishandled a payment, tried to double charge me, and then a month later says I still owe them money for past payments when I'm trying to cancel, and I'm sitting here looking at the receipt for the payment.. And their customer service refuses to listen.

I had cancelled my Celtic Health Plan on 12.31.2012, I had confirmation it was cancelled. I happened to check my bank account today and those no neck low lifers are trying to get $445.79 out of my account. I am going to raise cain about it tomorrow when they open.

I had Celtic health insurance for the last year. I am very healthy and used this card for a couple doctor visits and had zero operations. Then they send me a letter raising my rates from $274 a month to $346 a month. That is an increase of 26%! I called to ask why such a large increase and I was told this was most likely the same rate increase everyone received.

Been trying to cancel this policy for 90 days.... Still charging my checking account fraudulently. Will not help cancel. Have sent cancellation requests 3+ times now. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR INSURANCE OR CHECKING ACCOUNT INFORMATION!!!

This was offered as a replacement for my previous company. Received a letter welcoming me upon signing up with an effective date of 1/01/2012. everything seemed to go fine until we discovered three months later that it had been terminated on 1/1/2012 even though the premiums were paid for three months(quarterly prem pymt). No explanation as to why and nothing in writing only found out over the phone.

I have been with Celtic for 15+ years. No other insurance company will insure me due to my illness that I contracted 6 years ago so I am 'grandfathered' in with Celtic. The premium is sky-high and is raised at least 10% every 6 months. I have caught many errors on the EOB's (Explanation of Benefits) so you must read them carefully! The only nice thing I can say about Celtic is that most of their Customer Service people are friendly and polite. I could detail quite a few Celtic nightmarish experiences, but to sum it up......stay away from Celtic! Customer Service Even though the Customer Service people are generally friendly and polite, there is very little that they can do besides repeat what's already on the EOB's. Available Plans I'm grandfathered into an old plan that is no longer available but is a decent plan. However, even with a $5,000 deductible, my premium is outrageous! And they raise the premium at least 10% every 6 months no matter what!

My husband and I have been with Celtic for two months. This last week they more than doubled our monthly fee and charged us an additional $350 in "underwriting fees" costing us over $1000 in one month!!! We immedietly cancelled our polocy however the company will not give us any money back even though we were NOT notafied that our prices had risen. We are taking legal action and would NEVER reccomend this company to anyone!!!!

We had a short term policy with Celtic. I chose them because they provided health screening for basics like a pap smear and mammogram. It is clearly spelled out in their manual as covered for an individual over 35. They did pay for my pap smear but denied the mammogram charge. Lord only knows why. This bill is about to go into collections because they will not pay it. I have been trying to get it paid by them for 6 months. A very bad company to deal with. The rates are very reasonable but you get what you pay for. In this case, not much!
