If I had given this review two years ago, it would have been very negative.  I've had Aflac for about ten years and my representative was just horrible.  He was never around to service the account, and I'd simply forgotten all about it. — But, my new representative is wonderful!!!  She reminded me of my policy and actually assisted me in getting two claims processed.  They were very minor accident claims, but within a week I received two checks totalling over $ 500.00!!!!  I was so pleased, so THRILLED, that I sent my rep flowers!  I would never have seen… read full review »

— I walk everywhere, and I do not drive, I see accidents happen every day, and lately pedestrians have been targets. Worse, many are either hit-and-run, or drivers without insurance. While that leaves the victim of an accident uncovered, I began to worry, and looked around for an insurance company with NO BULL. Better, it has little paperwork, and pays its benefits sooner. AFLAC has very good programs that are affordable and they can tailor things to meet your specific needs.  The representatives are friendly and helpful in choosing a plan best suited for your needs.  What plans do they have? I purchased Aflac accident insurance when our medical went down and Aflac family accident insurance was approximately the same price per month as our medical insurance went down. Our daughter had just started gymnastics, and I was just waiting for a broken arm or leg. However, our first claim was when my husband tore his achilles tendon while playing in a softball tournament. They were very easy to work with and pay out very quickly. We have also made a claim when our son fell and had to have stitches in his head. I had this insurance when I was with a company until they laid all employees off. I found out that the insurance did not continue if you were laid off from your job. Though while having the job and the insurance, it really did help me. The comericals are good but can they not try to replace the duck? Come on. IT takes away from the point of the insurance.
