Just recently I have been hearing a lot of good things about the Yes To Carrots brand, both from my friends and family and in the media. Given all of the effusively positive reviews and my penchant for trying new cosmetics, I went out and purchased the Yes To Carrots C Through The Night Moisturizing Cream. The first thing that impressed me when reading the ingredients on the back of the container is that this is an all natural moisturizing cream. I have found that my sensitive skin reacts far better to all natural creams and this was no exception. When applied to my skin it felt cool to the touch and penetrated my skin deeply without the need to massage it too heavily. My skin, which is very dry, especially during the winter, absorbed this moisturizer in seconds. Not long after my skin felt less dry and irritated. The cream itself is somewhat thick but not at all oily or greasy,. The scent is also appealing and not too strong. The initial results were impressive. Continual use of this Yes To Carrots moisturizer have helped to improve my dry skin this winter. It doesn't itch nearly as much as it used to and my body feels softer to the touch. I can see why the reviews have been positive and glad that my friends convinced me of the benefits of the Yes To Carrots line of products. I have become a fan.

This cream is great but not for my sensitive skin. IT's makes your skin look healthy. My story is I tried this cream on and off for about 3 months and for the most part it burned my skin and made it completely red. I stopped using it and then would start again and sometimes nothing would happen to my skin but always had that effect on my skin. I read somewhere that sometimes it does that cause it's a natural peeling but why does it have to be so painful? I understand natural is best but sometimes even natural products if used on the wrong skin can be a hazard. I found out I needed to use what was good for me , what worked on my skin not just because it was in trend or natural or what have you. I'm sure this product will work wonderfully for other ppl with suitable skin types for this. But my skin didn't do well with it. maybe I wasn't using it well or maybe who knows but one thing for sure is it is a good natural product.

Although I am very interested in trying new anti aging skin care, I am not one to go buy the first new thing that comes down the pike. However, when someone gives me a gift, well, I certainly won't look that gift horse in the mouth. Recently I was able to test out YES TO CARROTS C THROUGH THE NIGHT moisturizer. I have used a lot of natural based products over the years and one thing I enjoy about them is the nice natural based oils they often will add for fragrance. Lemons, oranges, flowers, and any other type of natural scent often will make me enjoy a mediocre skin care product more than if it smells like anything else on the market. One thing I was interested in with the YES TO CARROTS C THROUGH THE NIGHT MOISTURIZER was that it was from Israel and contained Dead Sea water which is known world wide for its beneficial effects on skin. Also the ingredient list is rich with natural ingredients including carrot oil, avocado oil, ginkgo biloba extract, cucumber extract, and even mandarin orange peel oil. This night cream says that it is made from organic vegetables and fruits and will give skin a dose of minerals while you sleep, leaving your skin moisturized, soft, smooth, and firmer with a radiant glow. The cream is not greasy or heavy, but it does feel a bit waxy at first. That does go away however, and skin is left feeling nice and moisturized without that "plastic bag" feeling some moisturizers will leave. The cream comes in a frosted plastic jar with orange writing on it. There is 1.7 oz of paraben free cream in a jar. **The Bottom Line** This is a great night cream. It leaves my skin feeling firm and glowing with continual use- takes over a week to see big difference, I do find that using the YES TO CARROTS C THROUGH THE NIGHT with the YES TO CUCUMBERS FACIAL TOWELETTES works best of all. The combination of the two products leaves my face feeling even more intensely moisturized, and I see a better performance of the night cream. I can see using this would probably discourage aging if you start younger, and if you are older, it would be a nice night cream but you will have to use it for a short while to start seeing a difference. It is not instant. I don't see it doing miraculous things, but I do see it brightening complexion and bringing a bit more firmness to the skin and making skin lovely velvety soft. I raised this to five stars because it is better than just a night cream and with continued use I saw a good difference, but I really battled with that because I don't think that the fragrance makes it feel any more natural than using drug store cold cream, but I did get used to it with continued use. It does do what it says, however, so although I tend to like more quick acting anti aging properties in my night creams, it does not claim to be anti aging so what I am getting with it from continued use is really nice. If this had a nice natural type fragrance, I would enjoy using it more, but I have found the fragrance to be much lighter and easier to get used to. Effectiveness I do notice my face feels firmer and does have a bit of a nice look to it, but it is not as remarkable as using Lancome Absolue. Nor does it claim to be as remarkable, by the way. I am just looking for more of an anti aging cream and this is more for those who are just getting into gentle skin care products. My face does stay smooth all day the next day and I do think that hyalrounic acid in the cream helps it to be that way. Also, I do see a bit of a step above general night cream in appearance. I like this cream, but I would LOVE it more if it did not smell like typical cold cream. EDIT-I have continued to use YES to CARROTS C THROUGH THE NIGHT nightly and I must say that I have increasingly impressed with how nice this cream is. My complexion has a nice glow to it, skin is firmer and I did not see increased sensitivity to sunlight. That makes me want to use this cream in the summer time when I stop using LANCOME ABSOLUE. The newer white jar formulation works about the same. Ease of Application Although I really don't like the fragrance of YES TO CARROTS C THROUGH THE NIGHT MOISTURIZER, I still am willing to work with it since I already have it. I put a little bit on my face after cleansing and then smooth it around until it sinks in. The newer formulation goes in even more easily. Scent The cream itself is a pastel orange color (think cremiscicle) and is kind of waxy in feel at first. The fragrance, which is the thing that turns me off, is like cold cream. I expected more of a natural type fragrance. (UPDATE- they have reformulated the cream so it is now white and has a much nicer scent)

I'm a big fan of the Yes to Carrots brand since I discovered it about 2 years ago. I used to just use the regular day moisturizer but this winter is really doing a number on my skin and I ordered the night cream too. It's definately a much richer formular than the day cream and does a great job of keeping my skin moisturized. I have in fact even used it during the day on a few bad dry days and after one day of this, my skin is good to go for quite a while. I asked a beauty consultant and she said it is fine to do this as winter formula's for dry skin are about the same as a night cream. Smells identical to the regular one, maybe a little denser in the jar. I actually just picked up the eye cream of Yes to Carrots and that too is identical but just denser still. Eye cream is nice and soothing and I love how it instantly makes my eyes feel cooler. I really want to try the blueberry line as that is for anti-ageing so might try one of those next. Oh, don't let the name put you off, I think it smells very similar to olay in fact!
