As a regular moisturizer I would rate this a 10, due to it's all natural ingredients, slight rose smell, and the fact that it not only softens skin, but does not cause breakouts. My biggest gripe about this product is that it is marketed for combo skin, and my oily areas look like a grease fest after applying this moisturizer. On my dry areas it absorbs easily and my skin feels so silky smooth, and has improved since using this, but it's just too much for my combo skin. If you have normal to dry skin, this might be ideal for you, especially in winter months, but for an oily skin type it will make you feel greasy no matter what you do. Unlike other greasy moisturizers on my skin this brand never broke me out which says a lot about the quality of ingredients and oils they use. Effectiveness It definitely moisturizes skin, I found it a bit heavy. Ease of Application Smooth, glides on easy, sinks in to dry areas. Scent I loved the light rose smell of this lotion. It was not over powering or artificial smelling at all.

Seriously I love Weleda. I wish that this was more available in more places. The wild rose day cream is so wonderful to use! First of all the scent is astounding. It smells so wonderful I get compliments on it all the time. Usually a tube of this only lasts me a month though because I use it so liberally and often. I would definitely say that this product boosts my confidence level. It absorbs so nicely you can apply it several times a day and it keeps my skin feeling tight and smooth! I can definitely tell that it softens the fine lines in my face and it really is a magnificent product. One down side to this product is the price. It is rather expensive but if you catch it on sale then buy it right away because it is wonderful to use! Also their products are natural making it that much more attractive to buy. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking for a face cream.

I'm always looking for new organic and natural products for the skin and when I discovered Weleda ( I use their baby care line on my son) I decided to try their skin care line for adults. Weleda uses only organic and natural ingredients in their products which is very important to me especially if it's something I'm going to use on my face and body. I decided to give their Wild Rose skin care line a try and I'm glad I did because their entire Wild Rose line works fabulously! The Wild Rose Smoothing Day Cream uses organic rose hip seed oil as the main ingredient among other natural ingredients. It has a light scent because of the natural extracts so it's not heavily perfumed nor does it contain artificial fragrances. I use this day cream in the morning after washing my face and toning and it smoothes on really easily and smoothly. It instantly makes my skin feel soft and smooth and I don't even need a lot of it. That's what's also great about Weleda products - their products are rich in consistency so you don't need a lot of it and you don't have to waste your products by using a lot of it. I would definitely recommend Weleda's Wild Rose skin care line if you want natural products for your face and something effective yet smells great.
