This product is awesome for the price that I got it for.  I know there are more expensive calculators available through WW, but have to say that this one is the perfect size and it also does the job.  It keeps track of your daily points so you don't have to do it and it also helps you figure out how many points are in the meal you want to eat, which can be beneficial to you if you need to cut some back, you just figure it out as to how many you can fit into your meal(s). Great Product!!

The Points Plus Calculator makes it easy to calculate your points on the go. There are, however, two major problems with the calculator. The first is that you have to remember to take it with you, and remember to use it when you do! Otherwise, there really isn't any point to having it. The other major problem is that, while it can make it easier to figure out the Points Plus values of foods, it's only helpful if, when you're at a restaurant, the restaurant provides nutritional information; otherwise you have to wait until you get home and look up that information, and if you're doing that you might as well just fill out the Points Plus value on the website.

One great thing about the calculator is that it does work as a bit of a motivator if you use it. If you're eating out and you have the calculator there as a reminder that you're going to have to calculate the Points Plus value of your meal, it can be all the motivation you need to pick something a little leaner and a lot greener! It's also easily taken with you, in your pocket or in a purse, and it's a little less obvious that carrying a journal to record nutrition information if you're at a restaurant.

Works really well

Comments about Weight Watchers Points Calculator:

The principle behind Weight Watchers is that each food has a certain number of points based on calories, fat levels, carbs, etc. You are only allowed a certain number of points per day, depending on your weight, body mass index (BMI), and other factors. This calculator can be used to help you add up how many points you have already eaten that day, and see how many points you have left remaining by subtracting your total eaten from the total amount you are allowed per day.

I am a mathematics teacher, so adding and subtracting is something that I can do in my head. I do not need the calculator for it. However, I really like using the calculator to keep the running total of how much I have eaten throughout the day so that I do not have to think back and remember what I have eaten and how many points it is. After each time I eat, I just add that number on the calculator right then and leave the total up until the next time I eat when I add that number to it. This way I do not have to constantly be trying to think back and remember everything I ate and how many points it was.

Good Base Tracker

Comments about Weight Watchers Points Calculator:

This is a good tool for tracking your eating on Weight Watchers. You have to enter the fat, fiber, sugar and protein of your food and it will give you a points value to use as you track your days' intake.

I switch between inputting individual ingredients or totals of my foods. Sometimes I have found that 2 portions of a food will come to less points when entered together than they will separate, so I always double check.

I was using a calculator online at first but like having the portable calculator to do the work for me when at a restaurant or the grocery store. It's easier than attempting to find a signal on my phone and waiting for the website to connect and process the info.

The item pictures is the old version; be sure that you are getting the new Points Plus calculator which also tracks activity points (I don't like or trust these calculations, but there are there too).

I really like this little calculator!

Comments about Weight Watchers Points Calculator:

I don't do weight watchers anymore, but I did for a long time. This calculator came in so handy while I was doing it. It made figuring out points a lot easier. If you are doing weight watchers I would definitely say that this is a must have item! It is small enough to fit in your purse and have with you at all times. It is easy to figure out and use as well. I have never had any problems with mine and I used it for two years. I think I had to find mine online though. This item is hard to find otherwise. I will say that I am not a fan of diets anymore, but I liked weight watchers because it is more of a lifestyle. Out of all the diets I have done weight watchers was probably my favorite. I like the point system and it allows you to still feel like you can eat what other people are eating. It was a diet that could be stuck with for a lifetime. I don't do it anymore because I have gone back to the basics of eating healthy, exercising and drinking lots of water. This is a good diet plan though. The weight watchers calculator is worth getting if you are in weight watchers!

Genius idea.

Comments about Weight Watchers Points Calculator:

I have done weight watchers for years and I could not make it without my Weight Watchers calculator. It was a brilliant idea to come up with something that is so much easier than the sliders that we used to have to use. It is compact and it folds up to fit into your purse so you can take it with you everywhere you go. It is nice to have it with you in the grocery store so you can calculate the points in a certain food before you decide if it is worth purchasing. I actually own two of these so that I can leave one in my purse and one in my kitchen. It is very easy to use and tells you on the screen exactly what to put in (calories, fat, dietary fiber). If you are joining the Weight Watchers program or are already doing Weight Watchers, you really need to get one of these calculators. You will see how much easier it is to calculate points and you will be more likely to use it than to just try to guess how many points are in something. I highly recommend this calculator.

This product makes keeping track of points so easy!

Comments about Weight Watchers Points Calculator:

One year before my wedding, I joined Weight Watchers. This was four versions of Weight Watchers ago, but I still use my points calculator! Keeping track of points can be hard to do if you are out in the grocery store. I used my calculator almost constantly when shopping. It's small, so it fits into almost any purse. It is also very easy to use. By entering a few numbers at the prompts, you can figure out the points for almost any food item with a nutritional information panel. This makes comparing products easy when you're in the middle of a grocery story aisle.

I might be a bit old-fashioned, as I do not have a smart phone. There are probably apps or sites that give a ton of information, but I stick to my calculator. It's easy and reliable. I do not need a cell signal in order for it to work. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes using the Weight Watchers points systems.

Useful tool for Weight Watchers

By

Comments about Weight Watchers Points Calculator:

Before Weight Watchers came out with the points calculator, it was really a hassle to calculate how many points your food was using the nutritional information on the labels. Now, with this handy calculator, you can just quickly input things like fiber, fat, calories, protein, etc., and then simply press enter to find out how many points values your food is. No more sliding the paper slider they used to have! This is much more efficient and time saving, plus it's way easier. In addition, it also has a normal calculator built into it, so you can quickly calculate the points values of your whole entire homemade casserole, for instance, and then divide it up by the number of servings it should make. Without the normal calculator built into it, you'd be reaching for a calculator from the desk a lot. This has everything you need for calculating Weight Watchers points in it!

The Perfect Tool

By

from USA

Comments about Weight Watchers Points Calculator:

I absolutely love the Weight Watchers Points Calculator. It's so much easier to use than the old points slider from the original program. I love how compact the calculator is and how easy it is to use. I'm able to stay on track with my points all day long now that I have this calculator in my purse. I don't have to worry about writing down everything I eat during the day and tabulating the points, since the calculator does all of that for me. It even tracks my weekly points along with the bonus points I've used. Before the calculator I would forget quite often to write down everything I ate and the points I was using on a daily basis so I would quickly get off track and give up the program all together. With the calculator I've been able to remain on the Weight Watchers Program for months, which enabled me to lose a decent amount of weight unlike other diet programs I've been on before.

better than before

Comments about Weight Watchers Points Calculator:

This calculator is so much better than the last one. The buttons are bigger which makes it so much more user friendly. It really is a must have for any Weight Watcher member. You can get away without buying other things offered such as the books, but this item is a must have for success with the program. It can keep track of your daily food points and calculate the point values of any foods with a nutrition label.

Great idea but didn't last long

By

from Davenport, IA

Comments about Weight Watchers Points Calculator:

I purchased this last year when I did weight watchers and it worked great I loved the idea of the easier way to keep track of my points but it didn't last real long it broke about a month after I purchased it, I should have taken it back but I no longer had my receipt which is my fault.  I would defiantly buy it again if I had the money to do weight watchers again and the next time I would keep my receipt that way if it breaks then I wouldn't be without one.  But it made it so easy to just keep it in my purse and if I was going out to eat or whenever I ate where ever I was I would just pull it out and log it in and it kept all the numbers in there, it was so simple and convenient to use just wish it was a little better quality.  I would recommend this to anyone who is in keeping track of the weight watchers points it makes things so much easier than have to write it down all the time especially when you are out and about just keep your receipt so when it breaks or stops working you can take it back.
