When using fruity scented body washes, I used to have continuous issues with both dry skin patches and with acne breakouts.  I picked up some of Trader Joe's Oatmeal and Honey Soap mostly for the wonderful smell, and have found it works wonders to neutralize my skin - no more dry skin patches, no more acne spots, and it makes my skin incredibly soft, to boot.  I purchased this soap ages ago, and one good-sized bar has lasted me quite a long time - around two months, so far.  As I recall, it was pretty cheap - around three dollars.  I wish that this was available elsewhere (or, alternatively, that there was a Trader Joe's nearer to where I live than a four hour drive), because I plan to continue using this Oatmeal and Honey soap for as long as possible.  I love everything about this soap, and though I might not have sought it out, the fact that it's made with natural ingredients is icing on the cake for me.

This is my go-to favorite soap, and has been for about 6 months now.  I used to use more conventional soap (Dial) but have started getting more into safer cosmetic and cleaning products that use less harsh chemicals, so my wife and I started looking for a new type of soap to use that is "greener" but still effective.  We picked up some of this Oatmeal and Honey soap from Trader Joe's, and have been using it strong for several months now with total satisfaction. Trader Joe's is one of my favorite stores since they sell non-toxic and and natural products. The Oatmeal and Honey Soap is by far one of their best items! It is completely all natural, and does not contain any harsh chemicals, fragrances, or petroleum ingredients. It is made from vegetable glycerin, honey, and oatmeal flakes. I've been using this soap for years now, and absolutely love it! I have very sensitive skin and most soaps leave my skin feeling irritated and red. Harsh soaps leave my skin feeling tight and dry, so I avoid the common brands.  I've been using Trader Joe's Oatmeal and Honey Soap for several years now.  This soap leaves my skin feeling fresh and soft.

Each package contains two cream-colored, four-ounce bars.  Because it is made of vegetable oil, we tend to go through this soap pretty quickly.  The honey scent is very pleasant and the oatmeal provides a bit of abrasion when used directly on the skin.

At $1.29 for two bars per package, we're talking CHEAP!

If you purchase these bars, be sure to have a snack before you jump into the shower-- or you just might take a bite out of it!

Some time ago, when I started using almost all natural products, I bought the Trader Joe's Oatmeal and Honey Soap. I bought it because I have very sensitive skin, and even though not all natural, Aveeno's Oatmeal product had kind of helped me in the past; so I thought I'd give the Trader Joe's Oatmeal and Honey soap a try. A fabulous, frugal treat

I love treating myself to handmade, handcrafted soaps for a nice, relaxing treat. But whenever that isn't possible, these Trader Joe's soaps are a great substitute. They have a light, nice, fresh scent that reminds me of fall :) But even better is the way they clean my skin! They produce a great lather and leave my skin feeling freshly cleaned -- not stripped of all moisture. The bars last a long time in the shower (unlike bars that seem to melt in the shower). And did I mention how affordable they are!? Two bars cost about $2. That's a fabulous deal for a fabulous product. I always try to have a package of these soaps on hand. They're a nice treat to put out for house guests who may have forgotten their own toilitery items, and since the scent is so light and inoffensive (to me at least), I don't worry about the soaps being too overpowering for others to use. All in all, this is a great product and one that I highly recommend.

I have very sensitive skin and don't want to use very strong soaps. Trader joe's soaps are all great and Oatmeal and Honey is my favorite!!! The soap smells so goood. A little sweet honey smell and spice like cinnamon. Kind of like holiday smell which you can find as candles just right now. My super dry body get irritate when I use strong soaps; however the Oatmeal and honey soaps don't make my skin irritate. That's very important especialy in winter because even though I put a lot of cleam on my body, my skin still get irritate when I go to bed sometimes. I just use lotion after I take shower, but my skin is soft and smooth when I use these soaps. My friend has a very bad skin rushes but she was able to use the soaps, and didn't get any problems. I was impressed by the soaps, and surprised by the price!!! They are only 2 for $1.5, and work as great as expansive soaps at other organic stores.

I prefer using nice handmade soaps whenever possible, but they often cost more than my budget can stand, so I turned to Trader Joe's Oatmeal and Honey soap.

At first I didn't like the smell, but I decided I enjoyed in in the shower, and your skin smells nice after you use it. The oatmeal in the soap makes my skin soft. The oatmeal pieces are good fro scrubbing, but aren't too numerous to cause the drain to clog (I've had that problem before!). The soap lathers pretty well, even with my hard water.

The list of ingredients includes glycerine which is good for your skin and should naturally occur in soap. The fact that it is in ingredient makes me think that this isn't a true soap but a detergent - like most commercial soap. It feels like a detergent soap as well, but still nicer than other more expensive soap I've used before.

The bars themselves feel like they're a bit small, and they go away fairly quickly, but as a nice alternative to regular soap at a great price, they're worth buying.

I always have my house stocked up with bars of this soap.  It smells so yummy and it is very luxurious.  At such a low price, I am shocked at the quality of this soap.  I use this bar everywhere except on my face.  I use the Trader Joe's face wash for that purpose.  This soap cleans very well, and is also useful for a soapy lather before shaving.  They come in a 2 pack, and each bar is four ounces.

I prefer this scent over the other Trader Joe's brand soap, with the tree tea oil.  This has a better scent and is less drying.  Being an animal lover, I also love that this product is cruelty free, with zero animal products, and zero animal testing.  The ingredients are simple and pure.  I love this soap and will continue using it into the future. I even use it on my dog and it leaves his coat fluffy. My own skin is looking pretty good too.  I do not have any breakouts or any dry patches, so both dog and human are happy.

Wow! What a great soap for the price AND it's all natural.  I was pleasantly surprised with the nice creamy lather this soap makes.  Nice for shaving and great for your face - it actually took all of my make-up off including mascara & eyeliner! NO funky residue is left on your skin - skin is left soft & smooth.  It smells great [kind-of sweet & cinnamon-y] and is perfect for sensitive skin.  I'll definitely buy this again!
