I'll admit that I was a bit confused when i first came across The Body Shop's Spa Wisdom Morocco Argan & Orange Blossom Bath & Shower Oil. I had no previous experience with a shower oil before and had no idea what the heck it was supposed to do. I thought perhaps it was supposed to be used after you got out of the shower as a moisturizer but you actually do use it in the shower! In order to use it you don't use a shower pouf as you normally would with a shower gel, instead you pour a small amount into the palm of your hand and rub it on your skin where it forms a light lather. Really! An oil that lathers! This cleans very gently, so this is really more of a winter type cleanser not for when you just got done at the gym or are sweating like crazy and covered in dirt from yard work in July. The gentle cleansing combined with the oils leaves you feeling clean but not dry. It's an unusual sensation the first time you use it! You step out of the shower feeling like you just had a massage and are silky smooth and moisturized but not greasy at all! I kept running my hands over my legs in amazement! They were so soft and smooth! The scent is floral, but very pleasant and not overwhelming. It does not linger on the skin as some tend to and just smells clean. I definitely recommend this to those who are looking for intensive shower based moisturizing. While it's definitely on the pricier side it's certainly worth it for the moisturizing without greasy residue.
