A great nighttime moisturizer

By

from Spencerport, NY

Comments about The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Night Cream:

Overall I am usually pleased with The Body Shop products. They are the few I am not afraid to try not only because I very rarely, if ever, have any problems using any of them on my sensitive skin, Also they are one of the few stores who will take back a used product and let you exchange it (for full price!) if you are not satisified with the product.

That being said though I was not disappointed in this night cream. I actually use it for an under eye cream as this area tends to get dry easily and has also been easily irritated by other creams I have tried. This nighttime moisturizer keeps the skin under my eyes moisturized even in the middle of the winter. I wake up and my skin looks great. In the winter I have also used it on the rest of my face and neck, as my skin gets incredibly dry. I would definitely recommend this to others who have the same issues. With the dry winter over I have continued to use this cream under my eyes but have switched to the daytime cream for the rest of my face as the nighttime cream then made my face too oily.

Pleasant Scent

By

from Hartford, CT

Comments about The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Night Cream:

I have very dry, very sensitive skin on my hands and it only gets worse in the winter. Most products that are super moisturizing tend to irritate my already inflamed skin. Thankfully this worked beautifully without irritation.

I found the scent to be very pleasant and light. It was not the usual cloying floral scent that so many night creams seem to have.

I used this at night on my hands applying it and then slipping on a pair of cotton gloves. The gloves held the cream on during the night and the cream did a nice job of absorbing and leaving my hands feeling soft and silky in the morning.

I also used this on my neck and chest area which get extra dry during the winter from being exposed to the wind and cold, even with a scarf on. It absorbed relatively well and didn't leave a heavy, greasy feel on my skin.

For those with combination or oilier skin types this is really not the best option but if you have dry skin this is a great option.

Great facial moisturizer for sensitive skin

By

from USA

Comments about The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Night Cream:

This product is great for my sensitive skin. So far, I'm loving this night cream. It's moisturizing and has a refreshing scent. Unlike many other night creams, the aloe soothing night cream does not feel heavy or greasy once applied. The price is also great, especially if you can buy it on sale.

This Body Shop Soothing Night Cream soothes my angry skin.

By

from New Jersey, NJ

Comments about The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Night Cream:

My face is normally between "combination" and dry, but I keep it under control with daily cleansing and moisturizing.  Unfortunately, the past two weeks it has been going completely nuts with super-red patches, pustules, tightness, itchiness, etc.  It seems to be some kind of random allergic reaction.

The only facial moisturizer that I've been using is a light anti-acne one.  It was only going to further aggravate the situation, so I dug through my drawers and found this *Body Shop Aloe Soothing Night Cream*.  I decided to start using it each evening in an attempt to calm my irritated skin.  The ingredients include aloe, glycerin, and a bunch of chemicals with unfamiliar names.  I don't know how much it costs in stores because I only had a sample pot that a friend gave to me.

This *Body Shop Aloe Soothing Night Cream* is very rich and not suitable for those with oily or problem skin.  I applied a light layer to my irritated skin and it absorbed in quickly.  The redness was relieved somewhat and my skin certainly felt cooler and less tight.  The little white "mini-zits" that have been appearing continued to appear after using this product, probably because it is so thick and rich.  Still, they were the least of my concern when this cream relieved the red and calmed my facial skin down.

I will definitely be buying this product again like next week.  My skin is still throwing some kind of allergic tantrum, so I need to continue using soothing and calming facial products like this *Body Shop Aloe Soothing Night Cream*.  Recommended!
