We love yogurt in our family, so when our pediatrician said it was ok to introduce yogurt (NOT MILK - please consult your pediatrician) to our 6 month old, we did it right away. We started with jarred baby food yogurts because they were inexpensive and we could buy one at a time. Once he took to it, we tried Stoneyfield Farms Organic YoBaby in Banana and Vanilla. I liked that it was a known organic brand and that it was the right size for two servings, lunch and dinner. I also like the all natural approach, illustrated by the fact that the cream rises to the top on the yogurt. BUT, during...
review »These Stonyfield Farms Organic yogurts are a great product, but do seem to be a bit pricey. The only thing that I really can't stand about them is that they smell horrible, especially when experiencing it for the second time, if you know what I mean (yogurt vomit= disgusting). I started giving this product to my daughter when she was about 7 months old and she instantly loved it... all of the flavors. I like the kinds that come with the cereal on bottom because there is a high amount of iron in them, which is great for the little guys. This product is very creamy and comes in several different...
review »My 12 month old son loves this product as has now had it everyday for the past two months. He knows the package and immediately comes cruising to me with his mouth open. After eating he claps and says "Aaah" which is his cheering sound. The yogurt has greatly helped with clearing up his eczema which we have tried many product without any success.
I love this product since it is organic, made from whole milk (most yogurts are lowfat or skim milk), the Raspberry Pear and Strawberry Banana are fortified with DHA that helps with brain and eye development. The Apple and Mixed Berry packs (which are...
When I was pregnant I would often eat YoMommy yogurt which I think is no longer available. I use to love it! So I came across yoBaby yogurt on a website and I was so excited to introduce yoBaby yogurt to my daughter for the very first time. Its not available everywhere so I had to look it up on their website to see where they sold yoBaby. And luckily they sold it at my local Ralphs which isn't far at all from my house. They only sell 2 combo packs there which are banana/vanilla and pear/peach. I really wish they sold plain. Anyway the first time I gave it to my daughter I really thought that...
review »SO when my daughter graduated form formula only to solid foods, I really struggled withthe concept since the formula had the DHA & ARA lipids that are so essential for briad and eye developement. Call me crazy, but I am a staunch supporter of brain and eye development and the absence of those lipids in her diet concerned me. I then saw the Stonyfied Farms Yogurt at the grocers and was happy to see that it had those 2 lipids that were going to be missing from her diet. I bought a six pack of the yogurt cups and was thrilled to realize that I have a healthy yogurt eater on my hands! NOw I'm...
review »When my daughter was only a few months old, she was diagnosed as failure to thrive. She had severe acid reflux and wouldn't eat barely anything. Mealtime was a chore. The doctor recommended that everything she ate be high in fat and calories, this meant that we couldn't feed her normal babyfood, because it just wasn't fatty enough. I found this yogurt while trying to find a food that would be high in good fats and that she would eat. And man, did she love this yogurt. I usually added a little rice cereal to it, to make it thicker, but other than that, this yogurt was great for her. ...
review »I stumbled across Stoneyfield Organic YoBaby Yogurt 3 years ago when my son was 5 months old. I was looking for a child friendly yogurt that I didn't have to feel guilty about giving him. I saw this YoBaby yogurt and read the label and it was great. I loved that it came with cereal in the bottom which was perfect for bedtime!! I'd feed him the yogurt and give him a bottle and he was content. He still loves YoBaby 3 years later. Its become a name I can trust and no guilt in feeding him this product. Now I have a 14 month old girl and she also eats YoBaby. They have a few different...
review »I have been feeding Stonyfield Farms Organic YoBaby Yogurtt for almost 4 years now. It is the ONLY yogurt that my son ever touched, and my daughter loves it! I LOVE how healthy it is, and I love that it is Organic! It is not over priced, either, because you really get what you pay for. Also, it goes on sale quite frequently.
It is good for adults, too. I used it while breastfeeding for the Calcium and the Iron and I love the taste. It is very creamy, and has real fruit in it, too.
The vanilla and blueberry and apple are our favorites! We used to have problems finding different flavors, but now...
review »Yo Baby Yogurt is my daughter's favorite. She would eat it every day if she could. We only let her have it every other day so she does not get sick of it. She loves every flavor and we take turns with flavors. We, as parents, love that it is organic, flavorful, full of protein, and full of other vitamins that she needs as an infant. There are no added sugars like in many other yogurt brands. We believe this brand to be catered to the needs of infants. If we are struggling to get her to eat other foods, we serve yogurt with it, to make her enjoy her meal more. She is obsessed with...
review »When feeding both of my daughters, I began to introduce yogurt at around eight months with permission from my pediatrician. We immediately knew that yobaby was a great choice because it is organic and contains whole milk, which growing babies need. It was a little pricier than some of the other kid oriented yogurts, but after looking at the ingredients, I think that it is well worth buying this yogurt over others because they contain real fruit, no artificial ingredients and they contain much less sugar than others that I have seen. My girls have really loved all of the different flavors....
review »I first gave my daughter Stonyfield Farms Organic YoBaby Yogurt when she was 6 months old. She is now 10 months and still loves it and I plan to give it to her for breakfast every day. The fact that the yogurt is made from whole milk allowed me to give it to her at such a young age, which she is till unable to eat Skim Milk Products. But the whole milk composition also makes the yogurt super yummy! Sometimes I buy extra so that I can eat it instead of my yougurt.
We area slo feeding her all organi until the age of 3 (at least) so it is fantastic to have readily availalbe organic food...
review »So easy to feed to my daugther who is so picky less then 20% of what she's fed ends up in her tummy so when I found YoBaby I thought she may not eat it but it will be good for her and I.
Since my daugther was born and my husband and I decided extra hormones was not the way we wanted to go so now all her food is organic and this yougurt adds new flavors to a growing palet.
Childern who are just being introduced to milk at the age of 1 as you lessen formula our doctor said whole milk is best to keep but her body weight and nurient needs up to standard and Yobaby follows those rules being made...
review »My son was a very fussy little one- was so hard to get him to eat anything age appropriate. One thing he did love was yogurt, and this line is great because it is somewhat thinner to make swallowing easier for babies. I used to stir in cereal sometimes if he wouldn't eat it plain, and some granola when he got a bit older. My son would eat any of the flavors, and it cost significantly less once I discovered that I could buy it at my local WalMart ( the one with the grocery store). My son had siignificant stomach problems until about 9 months of age, so the fact that this aids in digestion...
