I wasn't exactly excited about my 9-month-old's newfound hobby of bathing in the rice cereal, but the picture does show how very much she enjoys this cereal! This was her first food, and she still eats it at least twice a day. We are constantly on the go, and I always pack a container of dry Gerber rice cereal with me for snack time. I usually buy the largest size I can and pour into smaller containers with lids for transport.
Make sure baby is ready for cereal--able to sit up, at least 13 pounds, and hungry after 8-10 breast feedings or 32 oz. formula/day, typically around 4-6 months. Preparation...
review »I am so glad they got this product in the market and you wouldnt believe what they make for infants any more. there are a lot of baby products for them to eat now. baby food, baby cereal and baby formula. i started giving my baby the baby cereal it is a single grain cereal for her age and so far i have seen it in oatmeal and rice flavors. after every feeding she acted like she was still hungry so when i gave her the cereal that solved that problem and she gets full so i dont have to worry about her drinking to much milk or wasting the milk, and the plus side to it is she loves it she eats it...
review »Gerber Single Grain Rice Cereal is a wonderful product. My daughter's pediatrician recommend this when we first started her on solids. She loved it when she first started and still does months later. It is chocked full of Vitamins and is a great source of Iron which is perfect for my daughter who is a mostly breastfed baby. They offer it in other flavors as well. I thought that my daughter wasn't going to like the taste at first because I heard mixed reviews from other moms as far as taste goes, but she ate it with no problems. She still gets Gerber Single Grain Rice Cereal twice daily because...

Gerber single grain rice cereal is the first solid food my baby started. She liked it so much it seemed like she was waiting for solid foods. I still remember the first day when i introduced her Gerber Single Grain Rice Cereal. After that she knows whenever i am ready with a cup with her favorite cereal she used to open her mouth and be ready to enjoy her favorite meal.
When your baby grows older just milk isn't enough to fill her stomach. Gerber cereal is the best solid food to introduce to the babies. I introduced it to her when she was around 4 and half months when her pediatrician...
