We bought the Sony Bravia Flatscreen TV last week as a replacement for our other television that was fried by a power surge during a thunderstorm.  Personally, I think it SUCKS!!!!!  The remote control is cumbersome and hard to use.  The television keeps turning itself on and off and does not respond for more than a minute to the remote control signals  I tried for 10 minutes to get the DVR to play on the television without avail.  I am ready to return this to the store and find something else that works.  Also, it is impossible to get to the battery case on the remote.

The sony tv that I have in my house has a very good picture, with bright colors and a vivid picture.  But, it is somewhat difficult to set up as far as the initial set up.  The sound is very clear and has a broad variety of volume.  The remote has many cool features that helps me navigate throughout all the channels.  It is a very reliable tv, that we have never once had a problem with.  The price was very reasonable for the quality tv that we bought.  It is lightweight and easy to move around.  It also has great stability so it does not fall over if someone is jumping around in the house.  The batteries in the remote tend to become loose resulting in the loss of use of the remote control.  Also, if you do not point it directly towards the tv, it does not accept that it is trying to control the tv.  The sony tv is a very reliable and well-priced item that can be used for everyday work.  It is very stirdy and reliable.
