I got this camera as a gift. I love the look, it's a pink one! My problem is figuring out which settings to use. Even though I used face detection, the auto-setting and it has anti-blurr, some pictures are blurry. One time, the pictures will be perfectly clear, the next time, they are horribly blurry. It gets frustrating because I have missed some very special shots that can never be replaced. I have twin sons and I was taking pictures of their first date. I took a lot of one son's pictures at his date's house and they were perfect. I took a bunch of pictures at the other son's date's house and they all came out blurry. They looked great on the camera's screen so I didn't re-take them at the time. When I up-loaded them to my computer, they were awful. I am so sad!! I can never re-take those pictures and they will never have another first date. I am sure that it is my fault and not the camera's, but it is hard to figure out all the right settings if you are not skilled at photography and knowing the correct settings. I thought the auto-setting would take care of this problem. I would love this camera if it was more unskilled user friendly.
Other than that, I love the style, looks and size. It is very easy to up-load the pictures and the battery life is excellent!! My old Kyrocera L4v camera could only take 4 or 5 pictures before the batteries died. This one lasts for weeks on each charge. I have only had to charge it three times since Christmas (three months) and I use it a lot.
I always wanted a Sony, because their reputation is so good. I think I will love this camera as soon as I figure out how to get the right settings! Until then, I guess I will have to put up with the occasional blurry and messed up photos.
