The Sony Cybershot W80 is an average digital camera with an average price tag attached to it.  It's held up well over the past couple years for me, and hasn't given me too much trouble.  One of the drawbacks with this model is that the zoom is really lame - only 3x and feels even less.  What's worse, the picture quality is evidently reduced when you're zoomed.  The quality of the pictures without the zoom enabled are quite nice though.  It's durable and lightweight, and the battery used to last a long time.  However, now that I've owned the camera for a couple of years, it no longer holds a charge, even when the camera is off!  So - every time I want to use it, I have to plug the battery into the charger for awhile - very annoying!

I think that there are probably better cameras for the same price (I paid about $250 for this at Best Buy a couple years back) out there and that you could do better than Sony Cybershot W80.  However, if you come across a used one for a good price, know that it's a decent camera and may be worth it.
