The Smashbox photo finish face primer in light worked well for me,

First it really makes the foundation go on smoothly with exceptional blending ability and a nice finish .

keeps makeup looking fresh and just applied .works well with any foundation and finishing powders . helps the foundation cover better epically with age spots and freckles.This is actually the first smashbox product I have liked and I have had a few .

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, in any formula, is the best!  I love it so much but use it so sparringly.  It makes my face feel so smooth that sometimes I just put that on and just say to myself "what the heck, I'll go au'natural with just my primer."  My makeup never runs, or bleeds when I am wearing Smashbox's primer and at the end of the day when I wash my face it feels so smooth, almost as if it was never dirty in the first place!  I will always bounce around and try different foundations, but the primer that goes underneath (95% of the time) will always be the same!  The only vice I have...

Smashbox Photo Finish in the light formula is just what I needed. I loved the concealing power of the original formula, but it always caused me to break out after the fact. The "light" version of this product is the perfect solution. It has an awesome flawless texture and works wonders like the original so that your skin feels perfectly smooth to the touch. Oily shine is also mattified- I noted for 8 hours during one wear. You can wear this alone, or it makes your make-up application look even more perfect by not letting particles settle into any imperfections or wrinkles and become more obvious....

I bought the Smashbox Primer Light about 2 months ago, and haven't noticed a difference at all.  I use it on top of a moistureizer with powder makeup, and it still comes off.  My face isn't overly oily or dry, but I wouldn't suggest this to any friends.  I feel that for the $30+ I spent that I should be getting a much bigger bang for my buck. My face is still shines at the end of a hard day, my makeup still doesn't cling to my skin like I'd hoped, but it does feel good on my face.  Maybe if you have 0 skin problems, but believe that you need a primer, then this procuct is for you. A friend said to me,  you have to try this primer, skepical...I tried it....and WOW! I was instantly hooked. It makes my foundation go on silky smooth without all the caking and deep lines! It really works! I don't know how great it would be for all skin types but I have combo skin and it works great for me!

I wasn't sure what "Primer" was but I got this product in a set and it won me over.  It is now an essential part of my makeup routine
