This is THE only face powder I can find that matches my complexion perfectly. I am bi racial and have had such a hard time finding a powder that didnt make me look red. I have yellow undertones and this works perfect! Sdmashbox Halo glides on evenly and doesnt dry out my skin! A must!

On a post-holiday shopping excursion, my mother-in-law and I both purchased the Smashbox HALO Hydrating Perfecting Powder & Brush Set Medium from a department store counter. We were instantly sold on this product by the young lady behind the counter, as she had it on and her skin looked absolutely flawless.  I had previously used another "mineral" kit that is very well-known, and found it tedious with its tiny little canisters and powders that had to be tapped and swirled. It worked well, but I hated spending that much effort to get what I wanted. Not so with this Smashbox HALO Hydrating Perfecting Powder & Brush Set Medium. It comes in an ingenious large "compact" that literally shaves off the perfect amount of powder - no more opening, dumping, and using several different colors and finishes.  Although this seems expensive, I can safely say that a single compact has lasted two whole years, I just recently bought a replacement.

I was at first skeptical about this powder, because it seems a bit pricey to me. However, once I tried the powder, I realized that I would pay way more for it. I LOVE this stuff! I actually do not even wear foundation anymore! I use the smashbox photo finish or Too Faced primed and poreless primer, blush and the Halo powder and I am done. I love how natural it looks - you don't look like you have make-up on; just really, really great skin. My husband stared at me the first time I wore this and said that I looked like I was in my twenties! I am 36, by the way. The only thing that I wish is that it came in more shades.

This is one of the best foundation powders I have tried and I have tried many. The Smashbox halo hydrating perfecting powder looks so natural that I pretty much can put it on closing my eyes. I never have too much on and it will never look cakey. I feel like it matches my skin perfectly and feels like I have nothing on. It's really convenient  and I like the packaging, as well. When the brush is separated from the actual product, theres less bacteria and such that you need to worry about. The only this I dislike about this product is that sadly, it does not last all day on me. It lasts about 3-4 hours before I need to touch-up again. It's disappointing because other than that, this product is perfect. When I do get oily and need to touch up, I don't use this product for doing so. I either use oil blotting sheets or MAC blotting powder and in just 10 seconds my foundation makeup is just as fresh looking as when I put  I first put it on.

this is a great powder!this is an amazing powder! i really love how it gives me a flawless coverage. it looks so natural and fresh on my skin. i use this everyday on top of my foundation and it keeps my makeup lasting all day looks airbrushed! there are a couple of shades to choose from so you may find your color, and since it is a powder you dont have to have an exact shade, something similar to your skin tone will do. and i love the texture of this it is really soft. i  got this in the smashbox kit and i really dont like the way it is packaged. you have to twist the metal part to shave some product out and if you shave out too much you cant put it back in so be careful about that. i would recommend this to anybody who wants to try a new foundation powder because it is really great, even though it may seem pricey it is worth it! you should definelty give this one a try because your skin will love you for it!

I can't tell you how much I'm obsessed with this makeup. Sure, it's a lot more expensive than what I was using before. But it's lasted over a year so far, and it makes my face look awesome! Also when I travel with it, it stays closed and doesn't break, which is a huge help.   The only thing I don't like is that you can't fit the brush in it, so you have to carry it separately. It gets sort of beat up, and it can also leave a blush of powder on your makeup bag if you don't wrap it in a baggie or a tissue. Not the best design, because I feel like for the price the brush should have a cover. But you could always buy a separate brush. Also, the brush sometimes sheds hairs, so if you don't check your face you might have a big black whisker lingering there. Not exactly hot.   So the only problems really are slight, and are with the brush. And are worth putting up with for the amazing coverage of this travel-ready makeup.
