Most HelpfulThis was the first high quality mattress I ever purchased. It has set the standard for me, so I cannot tolerate anything less supportive. My first one had an unusual irregularity, but under warranty I had it replaced with no problems. My second mattress has been perfect. The design really does cut...

Most HelpfulWe got this Simmons about a year and five months ago and when we first got it we were in heaven, After one year my wife started getting back aches I soon followed with back aches. We went on a 21 day cruise and our back aches were gone.. when we returned to our bed the back aches came back ! This was in May. I called Simmons and they told me I have to call the store I bought it from. and the store would set me up for a "Mattress Inspector" to come out to my house but only if there were no rips, stains, or tears in it. I got paper work to fill out and it told me to cut all of the Simmions...
review »I have arthritis in my back and hips and was looking to replace our old matress for something more comfortable. We looked at regular beds, but I discovered that a firm pillowtop was more supportive. We tried out a LOT and decided on this one, even though it was a bit pricier than we wanted to spend.
It started out just great, but now after about 6 months I have found that the pillowtop has seemed to crush down forming a depression that I keep rolling into during the night. I wake up anywhere from 4-5am with my back hurting because of this. I don't find that it supports me as well as when...
review »Rejoicing Pillow-Top from Mattress Discounters
The structure of this bed is hard on the sides, too soft in the middle. So when my boyfriend and I were sleeping on it, he would end up on my side because he couldn't stay on the side, he was almost rolled in by the bed. Plus, BeautyRest is just not made for stomach sleepers. The picture shows someone on their side and the bed conforming. Problem is, the bed goes down in those areas even when you're not on your side - so your body gets all contorted with your neck at an uncomfortable angle when on your stomach. I had the same problem...
review »The Beautyrest Pillowtop Bonita (Queen) developed a channel where I sleep within 2 weeks of purchase. I am tall and average weight. I went back to where I bought it but they did not offer a return or exchange. ("Sorry about your problem".) I recently talked with someone else who had the same experience with this mattress. They lived it for 3 years before the indentation met the warranty requirments. In addition, they had to pay to have someone come out and inspect the indentation (twice!) prior to the warranty being exercised.
I've had the mattress for 13 months and developed...
review »Our Simmons BeautyRest Pillowtop Mattress is 16 months old. For the first 10 months it was comfortable and I had no complaints. Around that time, my pelvic joints began aching, followed by my back and shoulders. I went to the Dr. and even had x-rays. Most of the aches went away when I got up. My body now hurts after about 10 minutes of lying on my side. Presently, I sleep on the very edge, where it is the firmest. Around 4 AM, when I wake up with an aching back and hips, I go off to sleep in the spare bed room on an old, comfortable mattress. This Simmons mattress has a ridge down the middle(...
review »This bed ia a real great investment. There use to be days and nights when the energy just wasn"t there. We tried vitamin c,e,d. Then we tried sports drinks and enegy drinks for extra stamina. We tried more exercise. We tried yoga, walking, weights and even soccer. It seemed the more we did the less we enjoyed it after the first 1 or 2 weeks. Then Peggy suggested a different sleep system. We looked for price first. That was a real mistake. If you sleep 6 hour a night that is 1/4th of your like in bed. After looking for a few weeks we checked out the Simmons Beautyrest. Once you relas inthe showroom...
