Lucky me.. I have TWO family members that sell this VERY PRICEY JUNK! I have been trying to boycot this stuff. I refuse to have a party. Everytime I see one of these ladies I feel as though I HAVE TO BUY something but this stuff is way way overpriced. I have seen most of the collection and it looks really cheesey. As far as I am concerned no woman of class would wear this. Just because it is expensive doesn't make it good. Please keep this in mind when purchasing any item. Silpada Designs are stunning! — The jewelry party I attended had several tables set up, and each was filled with a lovely assortment of jewelry in sterling silver, leather, stone, beads......all natural materials, and not a spot of gold or diamonds anywhere. There were even belts, as I recall. I go out west several times a year, and only wear silver, as well as a lot of turquoise. So for me, this party was wonderful. I was introduced to the Silpada line about three years ago. At first, I'll admit I was taken aback by the price point on a lot of the pieces. Of course, those are all the ones you really like!! :) I bought a few pieces and really liked the quality. At the second show a just a few weeks after the first party, I bought a few more pieces AND was talked into throwing a party. I had a great show and earned $800 worth of FREE jewelry. Why do I love Silpada? I hardly ever wear jewelry - usually its just my wedding ring. I got invited to a party two years ago because a good friend of mine became a rep. We had a fun time one evening at a National Convention (not Silpada). Michelle brought all her jewelry and we made an evening of it. I love trying on all the different combinations and walked out of there with 3 pieces. Then I started to notice that everytime I wore the pieces I received compliments. I was not to into buying this expensive jewelry at first but my mom had bought me a few peices from a coworkers party and i love all the desings and details that they put into the product. I recently attended a Silpada Party and fell in love with the jewelry.Thinking that maybe since its a little pricy that it is quality. Boy was I wrong . I was so excited when I received my braclet in the mail today. I wore it around all day and before I went to bed I went to take it off and it broke into pieces right before my eyes. I could not belive it . I am still in aawww. It didn't even last 8 hours. I have costume jewelry ,bought at inexpensive stores in the mall that have lasted years.
