Sensodyne PRONAMEL Anti-Cavity Fluoride Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth Reviews

I have really sensitive teeth. One of the medications I am on thins my enamel faster than most people's do. Drinking anything other than water pretty much damages teeth enamel anyway if you drink it often enough. So, I've got two strikes.

I use the Sensodyne Pronamel toothpaste. It has a light mint taste. Sometimes when I use a mintier toothpaste when I put it on my teeth it feels like I just put boiling water in my mouth after having ice cream on my teeth. Ouch! I don't have that problem with this toothpaste.

I might sound like a commercial here, but I am a Sensodyne toothpaste user and it really works.  A couple of years back, I wanted to whiten my teeth, so I started to use many whitening toothpaste.  I did not pay much attention to other oral health issues.  I started to notice that I felt sensitivity to my teeth when drinking cold water, eating fruits, or drinking juice.  I also started to noticed the lack of enamel in my front teeth.  It probably was a combination of things that lead to me having sensitive teeth issues.

Sensodyne Pronamel is a good concept.  It is made to strengthen teeth and to help eliminate sensitivies some people have with hot and cold.  These sensitivities shows up on their teeth and most tend to avoid foods that are hot (like coffee or tea) or extreme cold (like ice cream or drinks with ice).

Sensodyne Pronamel does help alleviate this discomfort, however, it tastes HORRIBLE!  Brushing with straight baking soda and perioxide taste better than this stuff.  It is very gritty and feels like (and tastes like) you are using concrete and not toothpaste.  So, the problem becomes if you cannot...

As a kid I was blessed to have never gotten a cavity. At my last dental appointment, they took some xrays and to my surprise they told me a potential cavity may be coming in. I was shocked because I have always taken great care of my teeth and I don't eat much candy. They suggested this toothpaste to me with a lot of flossing and it definitely helped. I recommend this toothpaste if your very health conscious about your teeth, which we should all be. ;]
