This is absolutely the softest material I've ever felt on a mattress.  I have silk sheets, and I'm very particular about the feel of my mattress.  Just yesterday I did laundry, including my bedsheets, along with a handful of other tideous chores.  I laid down on my bare mattress an nearly fell asleep.  It's amazing.  The stretchy "knit" that comes with the mattress is extremely soft and comfortable.  I've only had a Select Foam for a few weeks and I already love it.  I do, however, warn you to carefully browse the firmness options.  Mine is medium, maybe a touch on the soft side, and that is how I personally like it.  I have a friend who has a memory foam mattress of similar texture and she wisshes she had gone firmer.  But once you decide on firmness it will be hard to find a better value than Select Foam.
