I am giving this an overall 5 rating because it does everything that I have been looking for in a mascara, however, it doesn't do exactly what it advertises. It gives a beautiful, separated, and darkened look to lashes. However, this mascara is not very waterproof. It is great for an everyday, natural look and definitely helps strengthen and lengthen lashes! Performance This mascara is great for everyday. It lasts a very long time with very minimal flaking. It does not clump and separates the lashes well. I have seen a major improvement in my lashes, they have definitely grown and are not as sparse. The only complaint I have is that it is not very waterproof, and easily comes off in the pool. Ease of Application The wand is rather large, so it is easy to accidentally transfer mascara onto your eyelid. It can also be difficult to get mascara onto the lower lashes without smearing. However, with a steady hand or lash card this problem can be eliminated.

Are you like me? I am a mascara junkie! It's almost my favorite thing to shop for and probably the one item that I continuously brand hop to discover what's new and fantastic. I happened to have tried, and liked, Revlon's Grow Luscious everyday mascara, so when I saw that they introduced a waterproof formula into their line I was thrilled. But within minutes of applying this, the thrill was gone, so to speak! Probably the only positive thing I can say about Revlon's Grow Luscious Waterproof Mascara is the fabulous brush. It's plush and fuller than many other brushes that I've seen; it's a great brush for getting into even your tiniest of lashes. Plus, it's not a rubber brush, which usually seem to be scratchy and flimsy; so for that I was impressed. But that's where my excitement ended. There are several things that I noticed that made Revlon's Grow Luscious Waterproof Mascara a flop. Here's what I disliked: - the formula has an odd scent - the product, while applying, irritated my eyes - this flakes, smudges, smears and comes off not only while swimming but just from being in a little heat. - is not cheap and is suprisingly dry, making application difficult (it took several coats to even see it on my lashes). I have to say, Revlon's Grow Luscious Waterproof Mascara is truly worthless. I applied this mascara early in my day, in anticipation of swimming later that afternoon and before I even hit the beach I had flakes all over my cheeks and it smudge up just from light perspiration: HOW EMBARRASING! Save your money, this waterproof version of Grow Luscious is a dud!

This is the worst mascara ever! The want is huge and you cant apply it to your bottom lashes easily. It dries up so fast so if your going to put 2 coats then you better do it fast. It doesnt even make a curl on your first application. Makes your lashes look long and dead. Stands out straight. Very heavy.

I absolutely love that this is a true multi-purspose product. Not only do my lashes instantly look much better, but they are getting healthier at the same time. What is not to love??? This has more of a traditional brush which I really like. No funny shape or funny material here, it looks like what mascaras brushes looked like when I started wearing mascara about 20 years ago. My lashes look so nice without looking like I put a whole gob of products on them. The product seems truly waterproof and stays on all day. I find that this product doesn't clump (which I think is due to the brush style). This mascara also does not flake off at all. No little black specks under my eyes or on my cheeks. All in all this is a A+ product. Thanks Revlon.

I decided that I wanted my lashes to grow but I didn't want to pay for the expense of Latisse and the Dr's office visit to get it. Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara Waterprook In Blackest Black was my alternative. I have beeb using it for about 2-3 months and while it I haven't noticed any difference in the length of my lashes I do like the color and definition that I get by using this product. The color is a true deep black which I tend to go for in all my mascara's. The brush is really full and makes it easy to coat all my lashes right down to the lash line. I can get good coverage out of just one coat of masacra and it doesn't flake of get into my eyes. I wear contact lenses so any mascara that woudl do that is going to get thrown in the trash. I can't have that. I have a little trouble getting this all to come off my lashes at night, even though I use eye makeup removed solvent. Maybe it's just that waterproof! Maybe next time I buy it I might get the non-waterproof version.

I'm not a heavy mascara user, but if I line the top of my lid with black, the lashes not being as dark makes for an unwanted contrast, so using mascara helps to create a more sophisticated look.  I've used so many different kinds of mascara but in the very least I need something waterproof.  Its not as though I am crying all the time, but there always seems to be some sort of contact with liquid, be it rain, sweat, irritated eyes or of course tears that can make your face look like the crow. I have Blackest Black, I'm not sure how it is different from Black or Black Shimmer, but at least it is very dark which is what I like.  I don't do much else with mascara and eyelashes..  I'm not sure how to curl eyelashes or anything like that.  I've used fake eyelashes on occasion, but lately I just use mascara to make my eyelashes match the rest of my eye.  It can of course get too clumpy if you apply too much, but it doesn't take much to get a nice coat on your lashes. As far as rather it helps your eyelashes grow, I can't say.  I don't use it consistently enough for it to have an effect if it did.  Regardless of this, its very nice mascara.
