My boyfriend and I needed to replace the mattress I had at the time when he moved in. It was a memory foam mattress as well, albeit a very cheap, no-name mattress. Since I had been sleeping on this mattress for years, I did not want to go back to a spring mattress. My boyfriend was resistant to memory foam at first.
