seeking intelligent reads, a magazine reader, a subscriber, always seeking good tips
My family loves this magazine. It's got everything - humor, inspiring articles, helpful tips, news, recent studies, interviews with celebrities, health advice, and much more. — — It has unique information other magazines don't, and almost everything in the magazine is interesting - it has to be, because it's so small. Whereas other magazines can get away with less-than-interesting or helpful information, this magazine has ONLY interesting articles and subjects. It's probably the only magazine I read cover-to-cover. — — Plus, the humor in Reader's…

read for fun
Reader's Digest is a great read for everyone, from young to old! The stories are short, quick and humorous. They have jokes and cartoons for the young and the old. They have medical stories that are informative and then there are the real life stories that break your heart. — We keep our Reader's Digest in the bathroom for those "quick" reads while your "sitting" there. This is just a great magazine! — …

Articles range the latest scientific and medical breakthroughs, human interest, dramatic accounts of real life events and overcoming all odds, articles of encouragement, inspiration, and motivation, and lots of humor, mind challenges, and much more. The magazine achieves a balance in articles so as to appeal to readers of all interests and even in articles that have tragedy. pain, or sadness, the reader is left with hope and encouragement through a…

a fiction reader, magazine subscriber, an avid reader, news junkie
Reader's Digest magazine packs a lot of variety into a small format. Its family friendly articles have a little something for everyone: human interest stories; political/public policy coverage; humor; medical articles; investment and other helpful tips, etc. The wide variety keeps it interesting, and the small size is handy for taking it with you to read on the plane or if you have to wait somewhere. — I have two complaints about Reader's Digest. First, there are a lot of ads in the magazine. Second, once your name is on their subscriber list, they immediately sell it to…

magazine subscriber, a magazine reader, interested in well-written material, longtime reader, an avid reader
Reader's Digest is a great, concise, and well published magazine. I am a long term subscriber who thoroughly enjoys the material that is contained in each issue. The stories, articles, and anecdotes that are done each month are well worth the cover price. You can find information on a wide variety of subjects and topics every time. I will occasionaly even save a particularly useful article. My family also gets satisfaction from the yearly subscription to Reader's Digest. If you are looking for a quality magazine that is also very enjoyable, I highly recommend Reader's…

a subscriber, always seeking good tips, longtime reader
Reader's Digest contains bits and pieces of many topics, so you can start reading it for the parts you really enjoy (ie. humor, the heroics of common man), and learn something (ie. definition of words, health discoveries). There's something for everyone! I started reading this as a child, when I picked up my parent's copies, and now I am a subscriber myself. It is also a convenient size for taking along as I commute to work, and since the articles aren't that long, it is easy to pause at any time. —…

magazine subscriber, visually oriented
I love this magazine. It has everything from politics to home cooking. When i was a teenager, I only read the joke sections. Now i read it from cover to cover. It has humor, like I mentioned, but it also has serious articles. It has articles about celebrities and articles about everyday people doing heroic deeds, whether they help someone out of a physically dangerous situation or they let some teens crash at their place regularly, saving them from a life out on the…

an avid reader, interested in well-written material, seeking intelligent reads, a woman
What can I say about Reader's Digest that hasn't already been said. I love this magazine. I read it from cover to cover and that's not something I can say about many magazines. I really enjoy "That's Outrageous". I even read the letters to the editor. I will carry it with me everywhere until I have finished reading it, even into the bathroom. I have pulled articles out to keep for my family or friends to read. The subscription price is very reasonable for the quality of the…

a person who enjoys quality, magazine subscriber, an avid reader, interested in well-written material, longtime reader, seeking intelligent reads, appreciate nice things
I used to love Reader's Digest and would read it cover to cover. Then I realized it was taking me more and more time to tear out the thicker advertising pages. I find it easier to read without them. Then I sat and counted over 80 pages of advertising! Very smart actually. People are paying these magazine companies for advertising that has already been payed…

Reader's Digest is a wonderful magazine. I have been a subscriber for 15 years. My teenage son also loves to read it. We have a fight when it arrives in the mail as to who gets it first.
