I came across this magazine in the doctor's office.  I had never heard of it before, but liked it so much I tore out a postcard to subscribe and sent it right out.  I look forward to my new issue every month. — The magazine is filled with very creative, and fun crafts to do with your kids.  My six year old and I made some turkey place cards for Thanksgiving last year.  Everyone LOVED them!  We also got ideas for Christmas Cards for his teachers.  When kids give their teachers homemade gifts, the teachers just melt.  — Aside from gifts and… read full review »

Familyfun.go.com is the Family Fun Magazine web site.  This web site is easy to use with searches for recipes, crafts, parties, games, travel and holidays just to name a few.  You can view video clips of craft projects, cooking and more!  With many clever ideas to choose from for any occasion,I find myself returning to the site for a new idea or a refresher on a favorite!  Once you register on the web-site (free) you can opt for the weekend crafts.  This will sign you up for craft and snack ideas to get you through the weekend e-mailed to you each week.  I… read full review »

Family Fun magazine provides a great package.  Fun ideas for kids like games, crafts, activities; ideas for traveling with kids; parenting tips ("it worked for me" from other parents), plus family friendly recipes.  No pretense.  It is from the Disney group, but does not shamelessly plug away at Disney, just a few media suggestions here & there.  Fun to read & tear up (I tear out handfuls of pages every month with good… read full review »

The only problem with this magazine is that there are only 10 issues a year, so each issue will leave you wanting more.  This is a great all-around family magazine because it features so many fun family ideas like crafts, meals and vacations.  If you are looking for more fun and creative ways to get your family together for some good fun, this magazine is a must read.  I am single, but I still love this magazine because I have found so many great tips, recipe ideas and fun crafts to do.  Just this Thanksgiving I made the cutest Pilgrim cupcakes that were featured in the… read full review »

Family Fun is chock full of really fun educational activities for families. Activities include crafts, toy-making, games, recipes, family traditions, experiments, and things to see and do in each region of the country. It also includes articles with quick solutions to common problems, parenting, nutrition, school, health, and toy/book reviews. — This magazine is a make-your-own and do-it-ourself guide for families. Make your own toys, crafts, games, traditions, and experiments with things you most likely have laying around the house. For example, the October issue always… read full review »

This is my favorite magazine.  I love crafts and am always looking for new, fun ideas.  I am always anxiously awaiting the new issue.  For Halloween I made spiders using Tootie Pops for my youngest daughter's kindergarten class.  They were a huge hit.  Some of my favorite sections are: My Great Idea, where other readers share thier best ideas; Family Traditions, where families share their greatest traditions with you; Mom of the Month, where you meet an extraordinary reader; Let's Cook, always has fun food ideas.  My kids love the 'Try This Now'… read full review »

Being a mom to 3 boys it's hard to find things to do with them that they don't deem "girly". But we do like to dabble in crafts now and again. It's something that even my 15 year old enjoys sometimes. — During the holidays especially, I like to make our own ornaments for the Christmas tree. So every year, the five of us make our own special ornament and a family ornament to put on the tree. And most often, Family Fun has the perfect craft idea for that years ornament idea. — I like the tips it gives to get out and get moving for fitness, but still make it fun for all. It is just… read full review »

I am a long-time subscriber to this magazine.  I started reading it when my daughter was little and I have found something useful in every issue.  The articles are ones that I can relate to and I have made many of the recipes.  I find myself turning to this magazine for ideas for birthday cakes and holiday crafts--the cakes I have made from this magazine have all been hits and were all very easy to make!  Many of the craft ideas are simple yet attractive and I love seeing the readers photos showing how their projects turned out.  I save every issue and look… read full review »

For the price of this magazine, I definitely get more than my money's worth. There are so many great ideas in each issue that I feel bad for not getting to do them all. Even when I don't have time to do anything in the issue, it's great fun to just read and look through. I especially enjoy the Halloween issue because they always have such fun ideas for making costumes and have great pictures. I'm always appreciative of the section where other parents can send in their own ideas. There's so much to this magazine that anyone, no matter what skill level she has, will be able to find something to… read full review »

I highly recommend buying this magazine! — It is stuffed full of ideas for crafts, games, meals, — places to visit as a family and organizing tips. — My daughter and I sit down with it the moment it comes in — the mail and read it cover to cover together! — The only downside is that it does have a lot of advertisements, — but that does not take away from all the creative ideas for me. — The ideas are good for all ages as well. — We have used many of them to make our family life run more smoothly — and just to have more… read full review »

WOW!  If you have children, this magazine is for you!  I have gotten many ideas for things to do with my children and my girl scout troop.  This magazine has given me halloween costumes for the past 3 years.  Also, you can find fun holiday cupcakes in almost every issue.  Great craft ideas are abundant in this magazine!  My kids love the kid friendly recipes!  A must have for families with children!  AND the price is right, usually $14 for a two year… read full review »

I discovered this magazine about 3 years ago and noticed it had a lot of craft ideas.  I purchased as a gift for my daughter's Brownie leader.  She loved it, and used a few of the ideas with the troop.  I also bought a subscription for 2 years, but didn't renew again this year.  —  Great for:  Mom with young kids who love crafts, Brownie Girl Scout Leaders — Price: - Excellent bargin.  Definitely worth the money. —… read full review »

My daughter and I love to read Family Fun Magazine.  They publish recipes for April Fool's Day that look like something they are not.  I think that those are the most fun and different.  They give simple, low-cost ideas for educational games you can play with your family and fun party games as well as vacation ideas for the whole family.  Family Fun Magazine is a bargain and is greatly appreciated in libraries and doctor's… read full review »

I can't say enough about this magazine! Every issue I'm given a plethora of creative, original crafts, recipes and tips. There's been great organizational tips, and travel planning tips in the magazine. We also made over 50% of our holiday gifts this year using crafts, tips and ideas we acquired from this magazine! Each issue has something new and different- things that are sure to make your family time full of fun, laughs and… read full review »
