Great little heater to toast you up.

Comments about Presto HeatDish Electric Compact Heater:

This is a nice little electric heater. I have used it quite a bit at my parents house. They have probably had it for about 10 years or more so it has seen a good bit of use. During this past winter it has been in use as well and it still works great!

Performance
Has lasted a ton of years and never have had a problem with it from what I can recall. It doesn't shut off.

Ease of Use
All you do is plug it in and there is a knob to adjust the amount of heat.

Durability
Has lasted a long time!

Design
I wouldn't call it a work of art but it isn't too ugly either.

Safety
It has a bunch of safety features built into is such as if it is moved it makes kind of like a buzzing sound. So I would say that if some kids were messing with it you should be able to hear it because it makes a decently good buzzing sound.

Effective and safe, every home should have one!

Comments about Presto HeatDish Electric Compact Heater:

I love my HeatDish, and how it warms up the target area without becoming hot to the touch! The coils at the center of the dish get toasty, but the parabolic dish directs the heat forward (without getting hot), and the wire grate keeps keeps fingers and debris safe from harm.

If you tip the HeatDish while it is on, it buzzes loudly. This is a safety measure in case it should tip completely over, but I find it to be a minor nuisance when I just want to reposition the heater.

I also wish the electric cord were longer. (I believe it is about six feet or so.) Particularly because the HeatDish only warms up a specific target area, it is important to be able to place it where it is most needed.

Performance
great at heating the target area

Design
hums when heating, unfortunately

Safety
buzzes if tipped... does not become hot to the touch, but still warns users not to put anything within 3 feet of its front
