Talk about a perfect Valentine's Day gift! This would be perfect as part of a gift basket, or maybe as a special treat for the pampering before you go to see your special someone. Not only does it smell absolutely incredible (seriously, if you're a red velvet cake lover like I am, this is basically heaven in a bottle), but it really works wonderfully. I love that it's a three-in-one product, so I could make myself a luxurious bubble bath, wash up, and clean my hair, all while using a single product! It left my hair squeaky clean and my skin feeling so very soft and smooth. I felt fresh as a daisy, but I smelled a LOT better! Effectiveness I absolutely loved this. I was worried that it would be too much like a novelty product - all perfume and no work - but it turns out that it is every bit as good as it promises. I felt fresh and clean and smelled great! Scent I cannot say enough about how good this product smells. It is amazing!

Red Velvet Cake is my absolute favorite cake in the world and I was so excited when I received Philosophy Red Velvet Cake 3-in-1 Shower Gel! It serves as a shower gel, shampoo, and bubble bath. The smell is so heavenly! It actually smells just like Red Velvet Cake-it has a sweet, chocolate mixed with cream cheese scent. I could smell it all day. It makes an amazingly rich and bubbly lather that washes off with ease. I love how I smell after I shower with this! It also makes a wonderful shampoo. I find myself pulling strands of my hair to my nose so I can get a nice whiff. I also have the Philosophy Red Velvet Lip Gloss-it smells amazing and goes on well. Philosophy makes great products. They are worth the price if you can afford to splurge! Effectiveness This is an amazing combination product. It smells just like its namesake. I bake Red Velvet Cake all of the time. It makes a wonderful and rich lather and makes you fresh and clean. It also makes a wonderful shampoo. Scent Fabulous scent that smells just like Red Velvet Cake. It is so decadent.

I received Philosophy Red Velvet Cake 3-in-1 shower gel as a gift for my wedding. I really love to use it as a bubble bath because it dries out my skin if I use it as a body wash for more than a couple of days. With that being said, that makes it a really expensive bubble bath. It smells divine and really puts me in a relaxing mood in the bath tub. I have never used it as a shampoo so I couldn't say how well it works as a shampoo. I do have sensitive skin though and when using it as a bubble bath I have never had an issue. It is really cool how it is a 3-in-1 product and I think that is why it is such a great seller. I think that it would make a great gift for someone that doesn't have sensitive or dry skin and isn't concerned about the shampoo and conditioner they use. It also didn't make me feel all that clean when I was using it as a body wash so you might want to keep that in mind as well. I had to use a lot just to get clean feeling.

I've got sensitive skin, so I can't use this as a body wash or a shampoo, but it is a fantastic bubble bath! For some reason, diluting it in water doesn't cause a skin reaction, for which I am very grateful! I was skeptical at first that one product could be a shampoo, body wash, and bubble bath, but philosophy has done it. In a bath, this bubbles nicely and keeps it's scent. It's wonderful to just lay there is a bath that smells like cake. I light some candles turn on some music, and just let myself relax. Baths are "me" time, and while I don't take them often, I do appreciate the time when I have it. This product allows me to more fully appreciate that "me" time and to just forget my troubles. I would highly recommend this product as a bubble bath, but, unfortunately, I can't speak to it's qualities as a shampoo or body wash. It's a bit pricey, but last a long time, so to me, it's worth it!

Not even kidding! My younger sister (almost 20 years old) was staying with us and she thought the Philosophy Red Velvet Cake Body Wash, Bubble Bath, and Shampoo smelled good enough to eat... and she tasted it!!! While we do not recommend tasting the product, as she reported that it only SMELLED like Red Velvet Cake, we completely recommend using this product! Truth be told, I have yet to come across a Philosophy wash that I did not fall in love with! Something about smelling like tasty treats all day long! The scent sticks with you for hours too... I give this product five stars!  OH... and should you become inspired by the aroma you use, Philosophy kindly puts the recipe for the dessert on the label of each bottle! Talk about a multi-tasker!

Instead, just hop in the shower with Philosophy's "Red Velvet Cake" 3-in-1 shower gel, and in no time, you'll be completely at ease with your craving met. This gel is thick and luxurious, just like a real slice of cake would be. The smell is amazing - it definitely belongs at the top of the list of "true scented" products offered by Philosophy. The color is almost as bold, and the scent can honestly make you drool. [Most times, I find myself hungry after a shower with this gel... gee, I wonder why?] If you are a dessert girl, this is a must have for you. All the thrills... none of the calories!

This reminds me exactly of a pink cupcake with pink frosting that I had when I was little. I wasn't sure what to expect...probably I expected a little vanilla and buttery scents... This is very sugary sweet and it really did smell like pink cake with pink frosting. The formula is the same decadent soft creamy formula that I am growing to know from Philosophy. I only gave 3 stars though because it's a bit too sweet for me and I would have enjoyed a more creamy buttery vanilla layer in it. This one is more like sugar and very sweet. But, if you are looking for that exact pink frosted cake as I remember gfowing up on birthdays...than this is it :) I am addicted to these shower gels and I could not resist this one. It smells great and is so refreshing after a long day. I makes the whole bathroom smell sooooooooooooo good. A great treat for yoursself and great to shave with. A must have!

I was so excited to receive a Christmas gift last year that included this Philosophy 3 in 1 soap! The smell is amazing and made my whole bathroom smell like a fresh baked cake.  I have always been a fan of Philosophy's products but hadn't tried Red Velvet until this time. It came in a set of smaller size bottles that all smell like a different baked good (cinnamon bun, etc).  Each product can be used as a body wash or shampoo which is great for us busy moms that take showers while our children are pounding on the door.  Also, I love to find products that have a matching scent for both the shampoo and body wash.  This easy to use product can be quickly slathered on your hair and body in record time! The product is nice and thick and leaves your skin smelling great and moisturized.  The only down side to this product would be the price.  It is a little spendy but I found that this is one of those products that is worth the price!
