We found a couple of puppies that had been dumped to die out in the middle of nowhere and when we first got them they were only about four weeks old so we knew that they would need some kind of a milk replacement from what they were missing from not getting anything from their mom. The veterinarian recommended that we used this kind of milk for the puppies as we could not get them to drink the other kind that we had bought. We started using a syringe and feeding them with this slowly and we found that they did not fight it and that they seemed to really like it so we started putting it into a bowl for them and they were lapping it up just as fast as we were able to pour it into the bowl for them. This is a great option when you are taking in puppies that are too young and still need all of the nutrients that they would have gotten from their mothers milk. This gave them all of the complete nutrition that they needed and they came back really quick and became nice and healthy instead of being so ill and starved.
