I have been wanting a waffle maker for a very long time and I finally got one! I don't regret it one bit! It's easy to use and easy to clean. Makes delicious waffles

My husband loves waffles and we decided to purchase this waffle maker a couple months ago. During these months, we've definitely put a lot of use to it. It's very affordable and does exactly what it's supposed to do. First of all, it's very lightweight and compact. If you have limited counter space this is a great choice. When you lifthink the lid it feels a little loose, but it's only because it allows the waffle to expand and fluff better. I've also never had an issue with the waffles sticking. As far as functionality, it has 2 indicator lights. One to let you know it's powered on and the green light to indicate it's reached the right temperature to start using it. It also has a dial that gives you the option as to how crispy or light you want your waffle. While it's very easy to use and works well, the only complaint I have is that you really have no idea when it's fully cooked. There's no indicator light to notify you. It's like trial and error. You make a couple and figure out what setting work best and how long it takes. Usually when you stop seeing the steam coming out then you know your waffle is ready. I'm not going to say it's that it's super quick in making waffles, but it isn't too bad. If you're not a patient person this might not be right for you. Clean up is very easy. Since not too much gets stuck, I simply wipe it off with water and soap. No hassle. It does tend to get a little, like with all other appliances. I love making a lot of waffles and freezing for future meals. I even use cake batter and make cake flavored pancakes. All in all, it's a nice waffle maker. I've had no issues in the 6 months I've used it.

I cannot brag enough on this waffle maker! It is the second one that I have ever owned but definitely favorite! I love that I don't have to flip it in the middle of cooking and the waffles about cooked on the sides. There is a darkness meter that allows me to choose how crispy I want my waffles. I always go with the middles setting, and my waffles are cooked in about four minutes. This is perfect we have two hungry children who are ready for breakfast! I like to add all kinds of healthy ingredients, such as chia seeds, flax, hemp hearts and other goodies. This waffle iron can handle it like a pro! What has impressed me most though, is that the waffles never stick. Cleanup is a breeze! This is perfect since the aforementioned children are ready to play after breakfast, and who wants to spend time scrubbing waffle guts? The Oster iron is so light and portable too! Ease of Use Plug it in, wait for the green light, pour, cook, eat and enjoy!

I hate this waffle iron. It takes forever to actually make just one waffle, and more often than not the waffle splits into a top and bottom piece and gets stuck in the iron, even after spraying it. Not worth the frustration, I'll stick to pancakes! Performance This waffle maker takes forever to actually make waffles. There is no way I'd actually be able to make waffles for my entire family fresh in the morning, I would have to get up two hours early. To make matters worse, there's no good way to tell if the waffle is actually done and checking it too early leaves the top of the waffle stuck in the iron. Settings/Features The temperature dial just has dots on it, no actual temperature settings. Good luck trying to figure out if you should be cooking your waffles on one dot or two! Ease of Cleaning This iron is easy to clean when the waffles actually come out in one piece. More often than not though they split into the top and bottom parts and you have to pick them out, Ease of Use The waffles take forever to properly cook and the temperature dial doesn't give any useful information. Durability I have no reason to believe this iron won't last a long time.

This is a great waffle iron, it always works. I have never had a botched waffle using this. The only downside is that the seal is so tight, sometimes I get steam burns trying to pry it open. I do make gluten-free waffles, so maybe the texture makes it harder to open sometimes. If it gets hard to open, just use a fork or knife to leverage it open. This cooks rather quickly, so I usually double my batch of batter. Then I make all the waffles I can, and freeze any that I won't eat right away. You can just pop those into a toaster, and it's like a homemade Eggo. Performance Works well, occasionally is hard to open when the waffles are finished. The "done" light is also spotty, sometimes it isn't accurate. Settings/Features I almost never use the lower settings, they are way too low to cook anything I put in there. But the higher settings get the job done. Ease of Cleaning Just wipe down the outside and it's good to go. The non-stick waffle part doesn't ever get dirty. Durability I have used this waffle maker every other week for the past 4 years, and it is still doing a great job.

We've had our waffle iron for about four years. We make waffles at least twice a month, and our iron still works great. It has the standard features you would expect in a waffle iron: non-stick surface, cooking settings, and built-in timer. Our timer works great; golden brown every time. We've only had sticking issues when we've tried fresh fruit in our waffles. Performance Easy to use and straight forward. We are very pleased with this reliable product. Settings/Features There is a wide range of settings, so you can get the right color and texture to your taste. We found the setting we like best and just keep it there. They come out great every time. Ease of Cleaning The coated surface cleans easily. The only times I've had problems have been when I've added fruit or chocolate chips to the waffles. Those can make clean up a bit of a pain. Ease of Use This iron is incredibly user-friendly. It has lights that signal when it is pre-heated and when the waffle is done cooking. Durability Ours still works great after four years. We probably have waffles at least once every other week, so our waffle maker has proven itself very durable.

This is fine for the occasional waffle maker. But if you are a heavy waffle eater or use it for a large family and it is pulled out multiple times a week, you will be in for disappointment. Performance This waffle iron took a long time to warm up and get to the correct temperature according to the "green light". Unfortunately it is impossible to tell when the waffle is done, We ruined 2 waffles by opening early. Settings/Features There are no features that are helpful. Plug it in, it heats up and shows a green light when ready to go. It does not have a light to indicate when the waffle is done. I also found the temperature knob ridiculous, it just needs to be the right temperature every time. Ease of Cleaning It cleans alright. I don't usually clean my iron on the iron part but the outside was easy to wipe with a damp cloth, It did scratch easily though on the metal part. Ease of Use It is very easy to use, little instruction is needed. But the fact that you do not know when your waffle is done makes the Ease of Use a little hard. Durability I have no idea how long this product will last. It feels cheap and loose. I would not think with continuous use, daily, it is going to last a year. We use our iron every day.

Love the small and compact size of this wafflemaker. Not big and bulky like the others. What family doesn't want Belgian Waffles from their own kitchen? Fairly easy to clean, if you take care of it from the beginning you will not have issues with cleaning. We use a homemade batter for a healthier option, but any batter will do.

The batter has never stuck in my experience of using this waffle iron. Once you follow the instructions for your first time using this iron, there is no need to apply any kind of oil or butter ever again. I don't use oil or butter on the iron now and nothing sticks. Because the iron is non stick and there is usually some sort of oil or butter in the recipe, this makes additional fats unnecessary for non stick purposes. Because the iron is relatively shallow, to avoid batter from seeping out, I usually pour the batter a bit farther away from the center since there is a slight tilt downwards towards you. This typically results in a perfectly round waffle. I also use the measurement recommended in the included recipe book to achieve this. In order to prolong the longevity of this iron, avoid using metal utensils on the non-stick surface so that it won't scratch. For maintenance, I use a microfiber cloth on the shiny chrome finish.

I got this waffle maker two Christmases ago because I really wanted one and had been suggesting one for awhile. Surprise! Got it for my Christmas present. I made waffles a few days later and they were pretty great. I used pancake mix and it wasn't as great as how waffles usually taste in a restaurant. I wouldn't blame that on the maker, however. Just on the mix. I have made waffles only a few times and I love this thing. The light lets you know when it's done. It hasn't burned anything yet. Next time I'm going to try different recipes, and this waffle maker should come in handy! Performance Works great. Doesn't burn waffles and cooks them just right. Settings/Features I love the light on the top that tells you when the waffles are done. Ease of Cleaning It is a little harder to clean because of all the ridges, but the non-stick surface does help a little bit. Ease of Use Easy to use enough. Durability I've had it for two years now and even though I haven't used it much it has held up nicely.
