I love Peace of Mind!  I received a bottle of this from my mother-in-law and was initially skeptical that it would work but tried it out when I got a stress headache.  I was really impressed, right away the scent is soothing without being sleepy.  The site of application (I put this on my temples and the insides of my wrists) is tingly.  It opens my sinuses and has chased away quite a few headaches. I carry it in my purse and use it when I feel a headache coming on and it usually staves it off. I've also used it in lieu of Advil in a pinch and been impressed with the results.  Besides being a full time working mom I also go to school full time on the weekends and was having a serious stress moment in class where my head began to throb. I snuck this out of my bag and put a little on my temples and the relief was immediate.  I did end up reapplying once during the 3 1/2 hour session but that's not bad for a little dab that saved me from a killer headache.

I started getting headaches about six months ago. The really bad nothing helps ive taken my weight in over the counter medications kinda headaches. Its funny how there seems to be nothing your doctor can do for these horrible aches isnt it? With western medicine having failed me I turned to homeopathic pills which did not 'trick my brain into thinking i wasn't in pain' like the store clerk had said they would. Having tried mother nature I next turned, of course, to the random blogging of complete strangers. It was on a Parenting magazine (ya figure if anyone knows headaches its parents right?) article that I found mention of the Origins Natural Resources Peace of Mind On the Spot Relief. I had read elsewhere that the natural oils in lavender and peppermint were supposed to help but they were really expensive and..well...oily. This on the spot lotion has both peppermint and lavender essence in it and it soaked in almost immediately. What I love about this lotion is the immediate cool and tingling relief it brings to your head! After that the medicinal herbs really do help to relieve tension and sometimes even heal headaches. Smells great, fits in your purse and helps me keep my zen :)

This amazing little bottle is better than a great big bottle of Excedrin. Its minty aroma penetrates quickly into the skin to relieve stress and tension - especially good for a stress headache. The Origins line is very impressive but this item is one of my favorites. A little goes a long way. I love to use it on the back of my neck and my temples after a stressful day of teaching. It fits easily into purse or pocket and travels well. For those of us that aren't crazy about pharmaceuticals, this is one must-have product for the medicine cabinet. The lotion is creamy and lightweight with a great smell - great for men or women - it doesn't have a lingering odor. Don't let the small size fool you - it's not cheap but it really will last a very, very long time. I highly recommend this to everyone I know who suffers from any kind of stress headaches and no one has been disappointed. When a coworker asks if I have any aspirin, they get a squirt of Peace of Mind!

This is another Holy Grail for me. I keep this, a sleep mask and the bath vapor in a little box by my bed. Whenever I have a really bad headache, (non-alcohol related) I use this to relieve my headache. ALWAYS USE AROMATHERAPY OVER DRUGS!! These days, as soon as we feel any pain, we reach for that bottle of pain reliever. Well, believe it or not, our body was not meant to be treated that way. If you continuously have headache's or pain, this is a sign of something more serious and you should see a doctor. How I use this: As soon as that headache hits, I squirt some onto my fingers and massage it behind my ears, temple area and under my nose. Then, I take my sleep mask and put some on the tip of the mask that is near the nose area. I pull the mask low enough so that my nose continues to inhale the scent. I lay down and let myself relax for around 10 minutes or until the headache goes away. If I'm really able to relax, without the distractions, then my headache is usually gone in less than 10 minutes. Aromatherapy, and the scents, don't work for everyone, I suggest testing it out at the retail store before buying it.

I decided to try this product when I was browsing Origins website.  I love trying aromatherapy products and usually love them.  Looking back, I should went to Origins to buy the product so I could have saved myself some money, because after smelling it, I would never have bought it. The scent is overwhelming, and if you don't like peppermint, steer clear!  I tried it last night for the first time and actually had to wipe it off my temples and earlobes (instructions say to apply to back of neck, earlobes and temples) because they started to tingle and feel cold, and wouldn't stop. The smell gets a little less overwhelming over time.  I put on about a pump of the product and it went a long way.  I will continue using this product and hopefully I grow to like it.  I used it last night because I was stressed and found out that it really doesn't do much for that.  I am thinking that rather it works better for headaches and that is when I will try it next, just with a little less product to cut down on the tingling.
