Most HelpfulI don't eat as much or as well as I should but many vitamin preparations make me jittery or upset my stomach.
I don't believe in mega vitamins and feel too much of a good thing ... isn't a good thing.
One-A-Day Women's Formula Vitamins Tablets solved my vitamin quandary. These rather large, oblong vitamins...

review »This vitamin is everything a women needs. During her menstruation years, she needs extra iron to replace the blood that she loses. This vitamin provides extra iron. It gives her more energy throughout the day, without feeling too fatigue.
As she grows older, her body has different needs. Her bones get weaker, especially after menopause. One-A-Day Women's formula provides her with enough calcium to maintain good bone health.
I've taken One-A-Day vitamins my entire life, adjusting to the different changes (prental, women's, women's 50 plus). This brand is well known and respected.
I used to take folic acid, zinc, iron, calcium, etc. because I couldn't find a multivitamin I liked. Then I found One-a-Day, and it has everything plus extra nutrients for bone and breast health. It also has all the same ingredients as prenatal vitamins (or most of the prenatals I am familiar with), so I know that I'm covered if we get pregnant sooner than planned.
Some of the drawbacks are that the pill is a little difficult to swallow for some people and sometimes One-a-Day can be pricier than store labels.
The best part about this mulitvitamin is that I didn't have to take Midol during my period...
review »There are so many different kinds of vitamins out there and between price and "are you getting everything you need" I went through a few brands. When I began taking One A Day Womens, I could tell there was a difference in the potency. I did feel more energetic and tried hard to make sure I used them in a balanced diet. It was about two weeks after taking them, I started to notice that I was very edgey, quickly irritated, and having mood swings--very similar to PMS, but I was not even close to that point. I then forgot [as we all do] to take my vitamins and the edginess went away. But then,...
review »I purchased a bottle of One-A-Day Womens Vitamins because my Doctor advised I'd need all the extra calcium I can get up till thirty years old. I believe he compared my body to a bank account, I need to deposite all I can now because my body will start making bigger withdrawels once I turn thirty. So I bought the bottle, but I must admit I do not take them on a regular basis. I have a hard time swallowing pills, and these are no ordinary pills. These are very large pills -which I've now learned to swallow, but my reflexes still want me to spit this back out. Over all these are very tasteless...
review »I really like the One a Day Women's formula vitamin mainly because it has added calcium and you don't have to buy a separate bottle of vitamins just to get your calcium intake.
I feel this is a good everyday brand and its reasonably priced. I always feel more energized after taking this. I normally take it every morning with my breakfast and some orange juice. Its a great way to start the day off healthy and get your vitamins in first thing in the morning. Two thumbs up!!!
I have been regularly taking One-A-Day Women's Formula Vitamin Tablets since my college days (about 6 years). After finding myself always tired and run down, I went to the doctor and was diagnosed as borderline anemic and an allergy sufferer. My doctor recommended starting a daily multivitamin and after some research I tried One-A-Day Women's Formula Vitamin Tablets. Within the first week my energy felt boosted and since then, though I have tried many different allergy medications to find the right one, if I stop taking my vitamins for any real duration I start to get that run down feeling...
