I am one of those annoying people who carry a camera in their purse at all times in order to record the "amazing" happenings of their daily lives. I held out on the idea of a digital camera. The price was a bit off putting for me and I didn' want to pay a large sum of money for something that may or may not disappoint me. When I did finally give in I purchased the Nikon Coolpix L19 Digital Camera and I am so glad I did. I;ve never had a problem with it and fortunately for my clumsy hands this camera is not as breakable as it seems. The picture quality is awesome. The only complaint I have is that sometimes it takes a little longer for a picture to save so sometimes you have to wait a second rather than hitting the button again and again and again. All in all I have gotten so much use out of this camera and the price is terrible on it for the quality you get in return. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone.

i got this camera for christmas a year ago, and i thought it would just be a simple, easy, nice camera to use. I WAS WRONG!!! This camera isnt very good at all! The batterys die pretty much instantly! And you have to hold it as still as possible! Otherwise its super blurry. And the screen that you view your pictures on is worse that my gameboy colors screen. The pictures quality is decent if you hold it steady and view it on a pc but not that great. I have only used this camera maybe 3 times and dont plan on using it much more. I veyr much prefer my 3 megapixel phone camera to this 7 megapixer (so they say) piece of junk! Dont buy it, buy a canon. I've had alot better experience with them, or at least buy a good nikon because they do make good cameras.

**Nikon - Coolpix L19 Digital Camera** is the worst camera that I have ever used.  The focus on it is terrible.  It has amazingly bad visual quality.  When you go to take a picture it takes forever to get the picture in focus before it will take the picture.  This is especially frustrating when you are trying to take pictures of animals or little kids who move a lot.  The **Nikon - Coolpix L19 Digital Camera** does not hold a battery charge and drains very quickly.  Using rechargeable batteries is even worse.  The **Nikon - Coolpix L19 Digital Camera** has very low pixel's and the pixelation (is that a word?) sucks. There are some positive aspects of the **Nikon - Coolpix L19 Digital Camera**.  It is light weight and easy to carry around or put in your purse.  It also downloads easy on my computer.  There is a digital display that you can use to take pictuers instead of looking through the camera hole which is nice. I don't suggest the **Nikon - Coolpix L19 Digital Camera** at all; even as a starter camera.****

I am not that impressed with the Nikon Coolpix L19 camera.  I bought this camera as a replacement for another camera and I bought it because it was inexpensive.  I guess you get what you pay for.  The camera is alright but there is really nothing special about it.  The LCD screen shows the pictures very blurry and at first I was upset that the pictures would turn out that way, but they do not.  The pictures when printed are not at all blurry like the screen shows.  Also the delay when you try to take a picture is really annoying,  When you have a newborn child with fleeting smiles, you need to take the picture the minute you push the button.  This can get very frustrating.  Also the flash is almost too bright and it washes out some of the picture.   I would not recommend this camera to a friend unless they are looking for a cheap camera, but honestly I am sure there are better cameras out there for the same price.

I bought this nikon coolpix digital camera about three years ago and its the best camera i ever owned.. and the price was right because i got it on sale.. little did i know it would be one of the best buys id ever encounter.. its easy to use its got camera mode.. and movie mode.. it makes special framed backgrounds  its got zoom in and zoom  along with other functions and when your not using it.. it automaticly tuns itself off.. the color quality is fantastic and i never have to pay to get my film developed again cause its all stored on a memory card which i could transfere to my computer and print it out or just save it to my computer .. i love my digital camera and if it broke i wouldnt hesitate to buy another one ..
