I recently purchased this, which I believe is a new product (?) to the Neutrogena Naturals line. I really like this product because it is effective and makes my pores feel clean right after usage. I suffered from blackheads and just a list of acne issues, but I was always worried about using products like this because I have had bad reactions to previous scrubs with my eczema. However, this purifying pore scrub works! The natural ingredients makes me feel a lot better too for daily use. I would definitely recommend this product! I never thought that my acne problems would get better, but my skin has really improved after using this product. I have sensitive skin and this works fine. Hahah I have even been getting compliments that my skin looks clearer from my mom and my sister. Def rec! Ease of Application daily use, i usually use it in the shower Scent I can't really describe what it smells like, but it smells good

Was SO excited when Neutrogena came out with a 'natural' skin care line, particularly one that didn't break my delicate wallet. I have post-acne skin, meaning it's thick from years of breakouts and excess oil. I try to exfoliate a couple times a week, if only to debride away dead skin cells. So I was pleased to find Neutrogena Naturals Pore Purifying Scrub next to my new favorite moisturizer, Neutrogena Naturals Multi-Vitamin Nourishing Moisturizer. First the bad: It isn't what I normally think of as 'scrub'. It's more a thick, foamy cleanser. It does have beads in it, but not enough to exfoliate (as I have come to understand that). Solution: A disposable scrubby pad, skin brush or slightly rough washcloth. The Good: It is an excellent cleanser - gets all the nasty off without stripping your skin. It smells divine in a heady, perfumy way, but the scent dissipates before you get out of the shower. It treats your skin kindly enough that you could go without a moisturizer, but it also leaves your skin feeling 'prepared' to accept the companion moisturizer. It's inexpensive, smells great and leaves your skin feeling smooth. Definitely recommend. Effectiveness Cleans without stripping moisture from your skin, and seems to be somewhat concentrated, so a small amount goes a long way. Rinses completely and doesn't seem to require follow-up moisturizer. Ease of Application Goes on well; only dropped it a point because I had expected it to be a little more of an exfoliant than a simple cleanser. I've tried it both without a 'scrubber' of some kind and straight from the tube, and I personally need a 'scrubber'. But this doesn't diminish the product's ease of use. Scent I like it's crisp, highly botanical scent; it almost smells like a men's body wash. The fragrance does not linger, so it won't conflict with other scents you might use.

When my local pharmacy had a sale on the Neutrogena Naturals line of products, I decided to buy the purifying pore scrub for my teenager. We've all used Neutrogena products before with good results, and I have especially sensitive skin, while her skin is oily and a bit acne prone at this stage of her life. Suffice to say she loved it and while skin products don't usually get her excited, she obviously liked it enough to rave about how soft it made her skin and it felt good to wash with it, and wasn't "slimy" or "too rough." So, a few days later I decided to "sneak" some of it to try and and I was surprised - she was right! This stuff is rough enough to exfoliate, but doesn't feel like you're scrubbing your face with sandpaper. Plus, it smells downright NICE! A fresh and pleasant smell. And, yes, it DOES leave your skin feeling extremely soft to the touch. And...moisturized! I tried it for a few days in a row and found it did not have a negative effect on my overly sensitive skin. Nearly all the ingredients are natural with the exception of two minor ingredients, so if you like natural and effective skin care, this is a great product. Can't wait to try the others in the line!
