A trip to a good Dermatologist will confirm that there are very few products out there that have an actual benefit for maintaining your skin. Spending money on fancy and violently expensive designer products that ultimately have no value for your skin is wasteful and non effective. I have tried so many of the popular acne clearing cleansers only to wind up with super dry skin. I love this product! I use the oily skin version. It keeps my skin clear and I love the fact that it's such a simple product. I learned my lesson about straying from my Cetaphil when I recently ran out. I tried another cleanser for problem skin. I had bumps pop out on my chin within days. I've gone back to Cetaphil and my face cleared right up. If I could shout it from the rooftops I would tell all the women (and men) I know to toss out the over-priced, over-advertised junk out there and go with this. It cleans, smooths, and moisturizes. It is available at drug stores, has no added scent, and is packaged with no frills. I wish I had known about this when I was a teen ager- or even when I was in my 20's. I bought this for my husband to use on his face for his dry skin. It works great. He places a little on his face every morning and the dry area is goine within minutes. It is a little costly but it is so worth it. I even use it on my toddler son for his bottom when he gets red. Living in FL we often get touches of sunburn on our shoulders and this works at taken the burn away and soothes the skin and doesn't dry it out. I am so happy that we all discovered Cetaphil when the dermatologist recommended it for our teenage son. I had run out of my facial cleanser and had to use some of my son's Cetaphil and I have never gone back to my old cleanser again.
