I am an older woman with combination skin, so I sometimes have breakouts. The salicylic acid hellps to prevent these and the alpha hydroxy acid makes my skin looks refreshed. My skin feels very clean and tingly after washing it. It is slightly drying, but I also use an oil-free moisturizer afterwards so that is not a problem. The price is perfect too.

I usually love Neutrogena products, and while this isn't entirely an exception, it isn't my favorite cleanser.  It claims to prevent and treat both wrinkles and blemishes, but I didn't see that noticeable a difference when using this product.  Just so you know more about my skin type, I am 23 and don't yet have wrinkles, but I was looking to treat acne and prevent deepening of fine lines and expression lines. My main complaint about the product wasn't actually regarding how well it did or didn't work however, what I disliked most about the product was its texture.  This cleanser has a very strange, slippery jelly-like texture that is really difficult to work into an effective lather, so I didn't really feel like I was getting a very deep clean for my face.  The good news is that, while using this product, I did see a slight improvement in my skin's texture and complexion (not as much as with Skin id, please see other review) and didn't notice any worsening of fine lines.  It is also important to note that when using anti-wrinkle products containing AHAs, your skin will be more sensitive to the sun's rays, so be especially diligent with the sunscreen if you do choose to use this product.
