I love that Nature's Gate products are better for the environment and have fewer unwanted chemicals. I love the scent of this conditioner- it is light and not too overwhelming. However, I am disappointed because the consistancy is rather watery and it just didn't seem to hold onto my hair to keep it conditioned. I was hoping to find a happy medium with a natural conditioner for color treated hair that didn't test on animals, but would work similar to the other products I've used. I suppose keeping it all natural changes the consistancy when compared to other conditioners that are not natural at all. I think this conditioner is gentle and helps to protect color treated hair. Perhaps it is perfect for thicker hair, but for my fine and damaged hair it just didn't work well enough. I like that Nature's Gate is more environmentally conscious and takes care not to have products with too many unnecessary chemicals. Unfortunately, this one just didn't work for my hair type.

I love using organic and natural products, and do so whenever I can, so I appreciate the Nature's Gate brand.  That said, I don't particularly like the Nature's Gate Chamomile Replenishing Conditioner.  For one, I don't really enjoy the smell.  I don't normally mind the smell of chamomile, but this conditioner just doesn't smell pleasant. My next problem is something that I've actually experienced previously both with Nature's Gate and with other organic or natural brands of conditioner.  It takes a ton of this product to fully treat the hair and get any real detangling or softening benefits.  Once you've finally actually managed to saturate the hair thoroughly enough, the resulting soft, yet not heavy hair is almost worth the effort and scent. Personally not a favorite product and not one I'll be likely to purchase again, but some might prefer the overly flowery scent more than I did.
