After having purchased this conditioner as a more "natural" choice than my normal Pantene, I was excited to try it. It smells awesome, but it really doesn't condition well at all. The kicker...the EWG Skin Deep rating is a 4...and so is Pantene. So it really isn't any safer or healthier than the non-natural store brands, and doesn't work nearly as well. If you're really wanting a natural conditioner, check out the EWG Skin Deep website. If you want a conditioner that smells great and you have fine, straight hair, this might work for you. Effectiveness I have long, thick, wavy hair and this conditioner makes my hair extremely difficult to comb. I would have borderline dreadlocks if I used this daily. I think if you had thin, fine hair that was straight, this might not be a problem. Also, in the winter, my hair gets a little static after using this, and I never had that problem with Pantene. Scent I realize this is a very personal preference, but this stuff smells divine. It's very woodsy and musky, and not at all feminine, but I love it. In fact, I love it so much that I just stand in the shower and smell it after using it. If you like the smell of Old Spice deodorant, it's in the same ballpark.

This is the best conditioner I've ever used.  I have dry & oily hair & this helps it a lot.  It's natural & smells really good.  It leaves you hair healthy & shiney from the first time of useage & it gets better with every usage after.  I couldn't believe how well it worked with my hair.  I don't believe it's that exspensive, but it's not cheap either.  I do believe you get your moneys worth.

This is my all time favortie hair conditioner because of the delicious aroma! I like to use different products, mix it up a bit--but I always return to Natures Gate Herbal Conditioner. The aroma is delightful, like heaven.  I've used this hair conditioner for several years and it's wonderful.  It does an excellent job of detangling as well as conditioning my hair. I love the smell, too, and it's wonderful that there are no chemicals.  I had been using this product for years until it disappeared off the mainstream market shelves. It's really a wonderful herbal product that keeps my hair truly healthy.  Plus, it this conditioner contains NO ALCOHOL or alcohol derivative, which is commonly found in most other hair products. This is a big selling point for me. Besides, it smells great (very natural and herbal) and feels superb.  I love all the natural flowers. Feels fresh and clean all day.
