I'm a fan of Method's environmentally friendly products, especially their hand soaps, so when I saw their seasonal Spice Pear Hand Wash I had to get a bottle... or three. I love the fresh pear scent. It's not cloying as some scented soaps can be but provides just enough to be pleasant and make you smile as you use it. The soap itself foams up beautifully and leaves your hands feeling very clean. While it is not a moisturizing soap it leaves your hands feeling soft and not stripped. The bottle is adorable and looks great in your bathroom or kitchen no matter your decor. it's also recyclable. I like that you can find this at most big box stores so you don't have to go out of your way to purchase it. This is a nice addition to Method's already great line of natural hand soaps and is a fun change for the holiday season. I feel confident with my family and guests using it and I definitely recommend it!

I had heard a lot of raves about method from the those in the green community at large and so when my mother gave me some as a moving gift at first I was stoked.It smells great and worked wonderfully, more proof that natural products are just as good as conventional. Then I was reading the ingredients and realised it was more like only as good as conventional. The ingredient list stated that it had methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone- harsh chemical perservatives (first can cause chemical burns and it is a skin and membrane irritant, second is a neurotoxin). These aren't the only yucky ingredients in this soap. This is a "petro-chemical soup full of ingredients listed as hazardous on the Environmental Working Group website" I think that sums this up quite nicely actually to borrow the words of someone else I've chated with online about these sorts of greenwashing unfotunates.

This hand soap caught my attention in an end of aisle display for the coming holidays.  As soon as I smelled it I knew I had to buy it!  A little goes a long way with this hand soap...it suds up very quickly and generously.  The pump is attractive, with a slight modern design.  I just might have to stock up on this to use year round if they are only keeping it for the winter season.
