Let me first start by saying that this machine is incredible. We used it for the first time for my birthday party with about 16 guests. This machine is so fast at crushing ice abd making drinks that no one had to wait longer than a minute for a drink. It crushes ice flawlessly and blends everything so professionally. While I am in love with this product and think it's phenomenal, I must also point out that this machine is very heavy and large. It's hard to store and takes a ton of counter space. It makes amazing drinks like a bar would, but that's just it; it seems more like bar equipment than a kitchen appliance. If you have a place to put this, perhaps a built in bar, I would absolutely recommend though. I haven't seen anything make a better drink than the Margaritaville Fiji Frozen Concoction Maker! It is a pricey piece of equipment, but I have seen many good sales on it at places like Bergner's and Kohl's.

This is my second Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker. They obviously figured out the flaws from the original design and fixed them in this version. Stopping during mixing to let the mixture settle is a hide improvement to help the mixing process. The mixing pieces now made of metal made it a more durable machine. We pull our blender out at every party And it truly is the hit of the night never one loves to watch it mix and our piña coladas are delicious and there is always a line for them. Someday we hope to upgrade to the 3 cocktail blender but we love our new blender. Fins Up! Blending Power Much better than our 1 st machine. After I purchased the Margaritaville I couldn't believe that I spent so much money on a "blender".  But, I am so glad I did!  This is NOT just any blender!  It truly makes restaurant quality margaritas and daiquiri's!  And, I think they are even better than at a restaurant because you can make them exactly the way you like them!  We also use our Margaritaville to make wonderful smoothies, snow cones, and mud slides!  So what makes this different?  It is the way it shaves the ice!  You get a perfect consistency every time!  Because the water drains from the ice, your drink isn't watered down.  And because the ice is shaved and not chopped, you don't get chunks of ice in your drink.  I also like the fact that this model offers different automated settings for margaritas, daiquiris, slides, and smoothies so your drinks are perfect no matter what you are making.  I purchased the travel bag too.  It is nice to store it in an also makes it easy to take it anywhere.  We even brought ours along on vacation!

Each year we host a Luau party in the summer/autumn and then we have a Superbowl party too. Of course, mixed drinks are always on high demand from the kids to the adults. We had a normal blender, the normal size, nothing fancy, though it did have the buttons to make frappes, blended drinks, and so on. But, with so many people, our blender really didn't match up to what we wanted. Blenders always leave big ice chunks in drinks and it really ruins everything. I saw the Margaritaville DM2000 4-Speed blender online one day when looking for a new concoction to use and fell in love! The color, for one, is eye-catching, and the blender gives off this old-fashioned look that is timeless; definitely much different from the boring black blender we owned before. Though a bit pricey, I decided to give it a try, and wow, was I ever excited! You can make any and every drink with this blender. In the mornings I love to make my own frappachino (move over Starbucks!) to drink on the way to work. Guests have loved our blender and there isn't a party where it isn't used all night long! Well worth the money. Best blender around!

This is right up my alley! My bf bought this for me as a mother's day gift this year and we love it. there was a terrible blender accident at our last margarita party where SOMEONE was a little too tipsy and knocked the whole dang thing over !!! It's quick, looks nice, and blends really good margaritas....of course after the 3rd, they're ALL really good margaritas! ;) It does feature a water reserve for the melting ice and has a 3 setting motor. we just set it on 3 to make it simple. Good for virgin drinks too ( booo :) We just love it. She bought one for herself too so now we're not dragging mine to every house party! But I wouldn't recommend it for smoothies or even milkshakes it's a bit of trouble cleaning and we found it doesn't blend  into a smooth texture like you would want for a milkshake or smoothie. But for the adults, and alchoholic beverages, I'd say thumbs waaaaaay up for this one! For the smoothies and such though I'll stick to my Healthmaster !

The machine was definitely worth the money.  We have been through many blenders and smoothie machines in the past.  And no machine has ever made a smoothie or frozen drink like this one.  It blends well, and shaves the ice to perfection.  You know those ice chunks that get stuck to the bottom of your straw when drinking a frozen drink or a smoothie??  Well this has NOT occurred yet, and I can't even say that about the drinks at the restaurants' drinks.  The drinks are also very well blended.  Usually when I have a frozen drink (I have sensitive teeth so I have to use a straw) and am drinking it through a straw it seems that it is too thick and I end up drinking all the liquid out with the ice still left behind.  But this machine mixes it very well, I have not had this happen using the Margaritaville.  I also love that it has three different settings, and to be honest I didn't realize that there was a difference in texture between a smoothie, daiquiri and margarita, but apparently there is and this machine has the settings to make them different.  I can't say how much I love the Margaritaville.
