We use this in our bedroom because our furnace doesn't come into our bedroom. It works great heats the whole room. It has settings so we set it about 70 but it turns off and on when needed. And it osculates to help. We really like it and haven't had issues we have had ours over a year.

I bought this for my small room at my mothers along with the other Lasko space heater that I reviewed. The Lasko Portable Ceramic Tower Heater is anything but. Once again the buttons and controls were easy to use and not hard to understand. I liked how skinny this heater was and it did not take up a lot of room at all. I found it disappointing in the heat that it produced overall. The internal fan was very weak and disappointing. After this product I will not be buying another Lasko item. I would not recommend this to anyone looking to buy a space heater. Performance The performance was awful. It did not produce much heat at all. Ease of Use The product was easy to use but that's probably the best thing about it. Design The design was overall very poor in the fact that it does not heat the area around it at all. I have to admit that I am very disappointed in Lasko heaters and products overall. It does not seem that they put too much pride in quality because I do not see how these heaters passed the quality control testing.

I think for the price, this is a good heater. Performance I would definitely say it does its job well. This heater is not meant for a huge space so, for a smaller location it absolutely brings the heat. Ease of Use It's really basic and easy to use. Durability I think it's a pretty tough little machine. Of course, it's not as hefty as a more expensive heater but, I wouldn't expect it to be either. Design This is more a personal preference, however I am not a fan of modern looking appliances. I will say that I love how it's tall and thin. I would rather that then bulky unless it's the fake fireplace heaters. We have one of those too and I love those type of designs. Maybe even one like that but, smaller would be pretty cool. Safety Not sure I feel 100% in safety. I won't leave it alone in our baby's room if that is any indication. We tipped it over the other day to see if would shut off and it kept going. I didn't like that fact but, that just means we are more cautious with where we use it.

We use this heater downstairs in the family room while we watching TV. The heater is great for a medium sized room and takes about 5 minutes to actually feel the warmth. The oscillating feature is a great feature and the remote control is great since we don't like to get up from the couch unless absolutely necessary. The remote control is easy to use but the shape of the remote could use a change. I would like to see a remote that is not as round and bulky. We have used this heater for the past four months and we have not had any issues so far. The heater does make a louder noise than my previous heaters from the same brand name but it is not so loud as to disturb family activities or get in the way of the TV. Also, using the heater for a long period of time tends to dry out the room. My husband also uses this heater in the garage and uses the set temperature limit. It keeps the garage warm, but not too warm.

This heater is very efficient at heating a small 20' x 20' room and is very easy to use. You simply heat the room to the desired temperature, then turn the thermostat until it turns off of the fan and it is set. The first couple of times I used it the room was far too hot but I moved it closer to the center of the room and this seemed to have fixed the problem. It will automatically maintain the temperature set by the thermostat so you can turn it on at night and leave it without worrying about the room getting too hot or too cold. They do suggest you unplug it when not in use which is important, otherwise it would continue to run and heat the room. Ease of Use Very easy to use and straight forward. You heat the room to the desired temperature and then turn the thermostat switch until it turns off. Then the fan will automatically turn back on when the room begins to cool. Safety The device seems to be safe, but they do recommend unplugging when not in use.

Your house feel a little cold? This tower heater is fantastic to give you just a little more heat. Our basement is chilly during the winter. I bought this tower heater to put in our family room and it does a great job of making it feel cozy warm. No more cold toes and no problem watching movies in our basement. We liked it so well, we purchased another one for our playroom in another part of the basement. It doesn't get how like some of those other heaters. Haven't had to worry about little hands being burned. This was a fantastic buy and would buy again if we needed it for another room. Performance This heater doesn't take very long to heat up the room. If you had a large room you might need two. I like to turn it on when we first get up in the morning. Within an hour, maybe less, the room feels warm and cozy. Ease of Use This is so easy to use. There is even a remote that you can use to adjust it or turn it off. It has a temperature button to set it at the temp you want. It can either oscillate or not. There is also a timer button that can be used. My children have no problem turn it on and get it to where it needs to be. Durability We purchased this 3 years ago and we have had no problems with it. We liked it so well we purchased another one this year for our playroom. It has gotten knocked over a few times over the years, but it still works great. Design This heater has some great features including the oscillating fan, temperature control, and timer. It stands about two feet tall. Not too big or too small. It doesn't take up that much space which is great if you don't have a lot of room to spare. Safety We have tried other heaters, but one of the big problems was they felt hot to the touch. We have little ones and didn't want hands or anything else to get burned. This heater is not hot to the touch. This is great when you have little ones running around the house.

This is not a bad little heater,but it could heat a room a bit better. It certainly did help though because we live in a very old place and we don't have any heat in the bedroom. It didn't exactly get warm in there,but it did help some when our temperatures got very bitter cold. We have an old gas wall heater,so it only heats one and a half rooms,but it is better than no heat at all.A;so I think that this small heater should have lasted longer. It only lasted through one winter and part of the next one. Performance The performance was adequate,but not great,but then again I guess it was still nice to have something to help a little bit. Ease of Use It is very easy to use because you can just push the buttons to the setting that you want to use. Durability The durability was ok,but not really that good. It certainly should have lasted longer,but some things today are not made to last long. Design The design is pretty good,it is sleek and modern looking,so it was good. Safety As far as I can tell,it is good for safety and is supposed to have safety features but we are still very careful and would never leave it on if we are not in the house. It didn't seem to have any safety issues when we had it.

My husband likes to sleep in his "man cave" which is located in the basement of our home. Last year I felt really badly for him because it is so darn cold down there. And to top it off he sleeps on a pull out couch on the floor! I'm freezing when I go downstairs to do laundry so I knew he had to be cold during the night, especially during the winter months. So Santa, me, bought him a Lasko portable heater for Christmas! He resisted at first but after trying it out he thanked me. It really makes a huge difference in a smaller sized room. And the heat distributes throughout the room. Very good product for the price. Performance It is great for smaller rooms and maybe even medium sized rooms. It's pretty powerful, which surprised me because I didn't pay much for it and it's on the smaller side. Ease of Use Plug it in and turn it on and it heats the room quickly. I make sure to use a power surge cord for added safety. Durability I wouldn't say it's not durable, but I wouldn't attempt to throw it around to find out if it is either. Design I guess it's just a plain, black heater. Nothing fancy but doesn't attract unwanted attention from the kids either. Safety I think it's safe, it has an auto shut off feature so if it overheats or gets tipped over it will shut off. And like I said I have it plugged into a power surge cord for added safety.

This portable ceramic home heater is definitely one of my favorite room heaters. Besides the aesthetic appeal and its design to be tall and sleek, it's quiet and heats up a room fairly quickly, (about 10 minutes for a larger room). I personally like that its tall and doesn't take up much space. Performance We have our Lasko Portable Tower Heater in the living room (20x30) and it quickly and quietly heats it up nice and toasty in no time. We have tried it in my daughter's room (20x20) and with the door shut the room was warm in minutes. Ease of Use It's easier than using a computer or driving a car. Plug it in, turn it on and set it. Durability We haven't been particularly rough with our Lasko Ceramic Tower Heater but my son did knock it over once. Nothing broke and it works just fine with no issues still. Design The design is very nice, sleek and stylish. Nothing fancy but nothing to monstrous or tacky. I can't imagine it wouldn't fit we'll with any decor. The buttons are on top which makes sense and works well. The vents are perpendicular and go from top to bottom allowing for more warm air to circulate quickly.
