This is a powerful sunscreen that I use on my face in the summer. It contains mexoryl, a proprietary blend of compounds with anti aging and collagen enhancing effects. The cream goes on light and clean, although it's a bit heavier than my standby, Oil of Olay SPF 15. It does however stay on throughout the day and does not need reapplication unless I swim. While rich and somewhat opaque/white, it goes on translucent and doesn't look greasy. Great for my sensitive skin and does not clog pores. Effectiveness No doubt my skin is extra protected and shows no signs of burning or tanning when using Anthelios. Maintains a dewy fresh look all day and is a great base for makeup. Ease of Application Smooth and easy application, sinks into the skin within a minute. A little also goes a long way. Several pea-sized dabs cover my whole face. Scent Anthelios has no obtrusive scent, no perfumes or other harsh unnecessary additive or chemicals.

La Roche Posay Anthelios SX moisturizing cream with SPF 15 is absolutely wonderful. I use it every day. I have bad skin, i breakout every once in a while and there's no rhyme or reason to it, so i need to use a moisturizer that is light but still does the job. this stuff is great! it was reccommended to me by my dermatologist (together we've been trying to whip my skin into shape, cross your fingers it will happen sometime soon). apparently, according to my dermatologist, you should seek out and purchase any product that features Mexoryl or Helioplex. both of them, whatever they are, work with SPF to make it work better and last longer. so this lovely moisturizer passes the Mexoryl/Helioplex test. there is one small thing i don't like about this product, and it's not a big deal. it's just that if i put it on and then don't put on my makeup over it, or even just powder, then my hair kind of sticks to my face and it looks kind of greasy. but i think that's will all moisturizers, not just this one. all in all, i love this product, i use it every day AND night.

I first read about this product in a magazine by a dermatologist who was saying we use way too many products on our skin (I agree!!). She recommended this moisturizer plus sunscreen as all you needed to apply in the mornings. That was enough to convince me to try it and I have been using it ever since.This product has since won several beauty awards; and the sunscreen is Mexoryl, a UV filter that is highly protective against short UVA waves and provides comprehensive UVA/UVB protection. So even though it's only SPF 15, I have never burned while wearing it. This moisturizer plus sunscreen also contains everything else I wanted: it's fragrance-free, PABA-free, oil-free, non-acnegenic and dermatologist and allergy tested. I have sensitive, combination skin, so I have to be very careful about what I put on my face.Love, love, love this stuff. It's the only thing I put on in the mornings before applying makeup and it lasts all day.

I have very fair skin and La Roche-Posay Anthelios Sunscreen protected my face the entire day.  It was a little thick when I put it on but it absorbed into my skin completely and quickly.  This product doesn't have an odor and I would recommend it to my daughters.  That is the ultimate endorsement I can give a product.

**La Roche-Posay Anthelios SX SPF 15 3.4 oz Sunscreen contains the ingredient mexoryl which plays a major part in deterring sunburn (and not available in all suncreens). While this product takes a bit longer to blend into skin (until there is no white left showing), it's worth the effort. My friends tell me they've never seen anyone sit on the beach so long, yet not get color (on my face). Definitely does the job.**

This sunscreen works and is what my doctor recomends.  I use it daily!  I do tend to have sensitive skin so I do wish that it was a bit gentler.  La Roche-Posay sunscreen can sometime irritate my skin but only if I am using a lot of it.  Such as putting it on multiple times a day.  It seems to stay on even after playing tennis as I do not get burned and when I take a shower if I do not wash my face first I feel the sunscreen getting in to my eyes.  So it is still on my face and it didn't wear off or sweat off.  A sensitive skin version of this product would be ideal as long as it still worked.  Sunscreen is the only way to prevent skin damage and keep one from developing wrinkes and looking older.  That is why it is critical to use a quality suncreen every day.  A quality suncreen such as La Roche-Posay sunscreen.  The La Roche-Posay suncreens are not cheap and the one that my doctor remommends I need to buy on line.
