I am normally not a bar soap kind of girl. I have found too often that the bars of soap leave my skin feeling tight and filmy, so I usually just stick with shower gel or body wash instead. However, I had heard such good things about the LUSH Rock Star Soap that I decided to go ahead and give it a try. Besides, I can never resist that pretty pink color. I am so glad I tried it! It is wonderful. My skin felt absolutely refreshed and revived and it looked so much better almost right away. I loved the scent and I couldn't be happier with how well it cleaned (it even removed my mascara, which meant I didn't have to use makeup remover, which is nothing short of a miracle). Effectiveness This does such an amazing job of cleaning and refreshing my skin! I cannot recommend it enough, and it feels like such a luxury because of its soft feel and its pretty pink color! Scent I absolutely loved the scent of this soap!

Rock Star Soap is the first Lush product I ever tried, and it is still my favorite to this day. It is definitely my favorite soap of any brand as well. The soap is a creamy pink color, and it smells like candy. When you use it, it creates a creamy lather that gets my skin clean without leaving it feeling dry. The bars don't last as long as some soaps, but I think that is because it is a creamy soap as opposed to a watery one. In order to make sure the bar lasts as long as possible you should make sure that you let it dry out completely in between uses and store it somewhere that the water can drain away, so it isn't sitting in a puddle of water. Ideally, if you are showering daily, you would have two bars, and alternate between them. The only reason I rated this a 9 instead of a 10 is because it is incredibly expensive. Effectiveness This soap leaves my skin clean and smelling great. It doesn't dry my skin out like some bar soaps. Scent This soap smells like delicious candy.

I've heard so many good reviews from YouTube beauty gurus about this soap so I finally tried it, it's so cute and pink, which I love. It smells so sweet and candy like, the major problem I have with this is that it doesn't lather very well which is a big problem for me, I love soaps that lather a lot and this just doesn't seem to lather at all. Not a lot at least, also I've noticed after I use it my skin feels really tight, again I think it's because this just doesn't lather a lot so I have to scrub a lot onto my skin. Sometimes I've noticed my skin gets very itchy after I shower and get dressed. I know lush uses all natural products so I don't know why my skin would itch like that, it's like I have to wash my skin all over again with another soap or body wash. I love lush products but this just doesn't make it on the list of things to buy from there. I hope not all of their soaps are like that they're so cute

LUSH is simply the best source for delicious smelling handmade, all natural soaps. I've tried almost all of them and they consistently remain favorites. I adore food scented soaps so Rock Star is among the few soaps from LUSH that I buy over and over again. It has a lovely vanilla fragrance that lingers on your skin long after your shower. And, it's pink. Who can pass up pink soap? The soap lathers up beautifully and moisturizes your skin incredibly well. It leaves you feeling silky smooth and without the need for any additional lotions or creams which is awesome in the summer. As with all the LUSH soaps it is absolutely essential to keep this dry in between uses. Completely dry. To that effect I always store mine on a little mesh dish that is meant for kitchen sponges so the air can circulate all the way around it. If you just leave the soap in your regular soap dish it will turn into a soap soup and, while still useable, lose some of the appeal.

Rock Star soap is my favorite LUSH soap ever. In fact, I think it's my favorite soap, hands down. Love it. Effectiveness Rock Star works up into a soft, creamy lather whether I loofah, poof, washcloth or just rub the bar directly onto my skin. I have never found it to be drying or irritating to my skin in any way. It cleans me, rinses off well, and is totally enjoyable to use in the shower. It's the ultimate soap. Scent Rock Star smells sweet. That's the only way I can describe it. It smells like sweet, yummy candy with a little vanilla. The scent is very strong but does not (unfortunately) stay on my skin after drying off. Some don't care for the strong scent as it is almost sickeningly sweet. It's like washing with sweet cotton candy. Yum.

I will gladly make an exception for Lush's Rock Star Soap. I am a fan of Lush's soap, and Rock Star does not dissapoint. It cleanses very well, and it foams very well, too. Not too much foam, but not too little foam. It does not last long, though, if you keep it in the shower/bathtub all of the time. I take mine out and store it in a little soap dish when I am not using it. Lush soaps melt very quickly, which is a shame. Rock Star smells so good! It is the perfect combination of fruity, Starburst candy, and a tiny, tiny bit florally. It is the perfect girly-girl soap. The hot pink color helps as well. There is not a Lush store near me, so I do have to order it online, which is a bummer. In store, you can specify which size soap you would like (how many ounces), and online, you only get the standard three and one half ounce bar. If you need more, you are free to order more, but it would be nice if you could just order one bigger bar.

I've heard only good things about this soap this i was very excited to try it. I've heard the smell is to die for, smells like candy. Now it does smell like candy and yes i love the smell of it but thats not all you need out of a soap i was wuite disappointed in the lather of the soap and felt like i was using alot more of the soap just to get enough on me, that would be my only con of it. I like how lush is all natural and only good things are in all there products and thats one thing i love. No animal testing as well which is always number 1 for me and the company stands 100% behind there motos which i love. If you love nice smelling things and not too worried about lather then i so suggest this soap. I will use it again because i love that it smells like candy and i love the name of it and just using it makes you feel like a rock star. I will purchase this item again because i pick smell over lather:)

Rockstar is definitely one of my favorite scents, if not my #1 fave, by LUSH.  While I feel all of their soaps do the general purpose of cleaning and leaving you feeling clean as well, this soap totally sold me over by it's sweet smell.  I am one of those girls who really enjoys smelling girly, and this is very sweet smelling almost like candy.  I might be biased because it is my favorite color - pink! - but I often buy this soap in a big chunk.  The great thing about buying this at your local LUSH (as opposed to online) is that they will slice the soap up for you so you can buy a lot if you like.  An average slice will probably be good for a week of showers - it depends on how thick they cut it.  I think something LUSH tries to encourage is that you can use a small slice if you want, small enough for one shower, and that way you can swap out soaps very frequently, which is something I like to do because I like changing scents.  I think the smell also lasts nicely on the skin and isn't too overpowering, but gives that nice flirty scent for when you run into your crush or significant other.  The only thing I find as a downside to this soap is the price.  Because LUSH is awesome and does not test on animals, and also uses all natural ingredients, it pushes the price up, but I really love the company so I find it worth it.

Lush products are all natural. All of their products are vegetarian and a lot are even vegan. Lush Rockstar soap is my absolute favorite product of theirs! It cleans very gently (which I need- I usually have to use a very plain, unscented soap because I have irritable skin) without making my skin itchy or blotchy. It lathers up nicely. It rinses off completely, with no residue left on the skin. And it has the most AMAZING smell. It smells like candy/strawberry/vanilla scented. It's a very strong smell, too- I can smell it on my skin after the shower and it always scents up my whole bathroom!
