*We bought this t.v. bc it was a good price and we wanted a bigger one. I will have to admit, I was skeptical on how the quality was going to be, but my husband didn't worry. This t.v.has an clear and crisp picture. The settings for it are pretty easy to figure it out. ...Any idiot can figure it out! The remote is pretty nice too. I have had this for about a yr.or so and it still is holding up well with the picture.There are lots of ports to plug in an x box or ps3 or whatever..you can also switch it to energy saver so your electric company doesn't price gouge you for the use of this.It is also on a swivel stand. I am sold on LG for t.v.s*

I recently bought this tv and it's awesome! The picture was way better than I expected from an LG tv and I glad I made the purchase. With a 55 inch Television watching blu-ray on my playstation 3 is awesome. The graphics are amazing on such a huge LCD HDTV. The power saving mode on this thing is also great. This has helped me reduce my electricity bill by a great amount.This has 120hz and 1080p making a great High- definition television alot of the older televisions are only up to 720p or 1080i which is not really high definition and should not be used for gaming if you are a gaming enthusiasts. THe only downside to this LG 55 inch HDTV is the viewing angle and possibly the dark levels near the edges of the TV. BUt if you are just a casual tv watcher or gamer then this should be no problem for the average user. I love hte quality of LG plus their customer support and service is great if anything should go wrong with the TV.

I love this t.v. It has all the necessary hookups for anything! I have a ps3, xbox360, hd dvr and many ports to spare. The picture is amazing, it is almost like your there, the sound isn't the greatest when I am watching a movie on my ps3 but that might just be the ps3. I have it mounted on my wall and it has been working perfectly since Sept. I would recommend this to anyone who has High Def equipment to hook up.

I recently purchased this tv and quite frankly am blown away by the picture quality.  I would probably say that among the entire LG tv product line this is the best.  I would deffinetly recommend it to anyone.  The cheapest one that I've found is on ebay.

After having a 30 inch t.v. for about a year, my boyfriend and I decided it was time to upgrade.  Our 30 inch t.v. was an LG and we liked it so we decided to stick with that brand.  We found a 55 inch LG t.v. that we were stuck on buying.  The best part was that it wasn't too expensive!  It's a great t.v. and the quality of the picture is fantastic!  There are many settings on the t.v. and lots of different systems and items you can use with this t.v.!  About a week after we got the t.v. we did notice some purple lines going through it, but that was an easy fix with a simple call to the company!  I think one of the accessories we like most about the t.v. is the swivel stand.  It makes it so easy to watch t.v. from different parts of the living room and from the dining room!  Also, the remote that comes with the t.v. is very easy to use and is very durable.  Everyone who comes over to watch baseball or football says they feel like they are on the field .. The picture is THAT good!   I'd recommend this t.v. to everyone!

This is a really great T.V.! As for looks, the design is sleek and thin.The picture is astounding. We watched Avatar on Blu-ray disc on it and it was such a different experience then watching it on our old T.V. (an approximately 30 inch T.V.) There are many ports behind the T.V. There are even usb ports! We were able to hook up our DVD player, VCR, PS3, and Nintendo NES game system easily. There is a power saver button right on the remote; with one touch you can choose to put the power savings on low, medium, high, or off. My only complaint is that it seems kind of unstable, but only when you move it. I think it would've been better if we mounted it on the wall.(We have it on an entertainment center made for T.V.'s this size.)  At first I wasn't so sure we needed a bigger T.V. when my husband first bought it. Now though, I see the difference! It's definitely a great investment! You'll notice such a huge difference between HDTVs and old ones!
