This Lavender essential oil has worked so well for me. I have anxiety and am stressed out a lot and take some medication for it. Until now I have not had any other way to calm my nerves and relax besides costly medicines and pills. The wonderful thing about Lavender oil is that it is so calming. I wasn't sure if it would do much for me but I was pleasantly surprised. I use this oil 2 different ways; with a diffuser or applied directly to skin and massaged in. When using it in my diffuser I just put a few drops in and let it fill the air with the sweet smell. The other easy way to use it to take a small amount (about a few drops) and rub it into the skin. I tend to put this on my arms and chest area. I noticed a difference immediately! I was calmer and less on edge. I now add this to my daily routine by using it my diffuser as soon as I get home and let it run whole I do things around the house like cook and clean. I have a nice sized apartment and this smells through the entire house so it is very fragrant. I am pleased with this oil and think it is definitely worth the price.

Now Foods lavender oil is absolutely wonderful for aromatherapy.  It smells great, and the aroma is so relaxing.  If you have trouble sleeping, just set up an aromatherapy diffuser in your bedroom and diffuse some lavender oil.  You will be in slumberland in no time!  Lavender oil is also great for burns.  There are two kinds of lavender oil, and only the officianalis, which Now produces, should be used on burns.  The other variety will actually make a burn worse!  Pour the lavender oil directly on a burn immediately after it occurs, if possible.  It actually stops it from burning!  If you can't use it immediately, use it as soon as possible.  It will help the burn heal.  Keep applying it until the burn has completely healed. All of Now Foods products are reasonably priced, and their lavender oil is no exception.  They also have a 4 fl. oz. size, which is even more economical.  I have been using Now Foods products for about 13 years and have always been happy with them.
