I recently purchased a Kirby Sentria.....I couldn't believe how much better it performed than my previous vacuum cleaner....You have 2 choices...1) spend money on several different vacuums throughout your life or 2) buy one Kirby vacuum....It's that simple...Why spend money on vacuums that don't work as well just because they are cheaper...Do yourself a favor and buy a Kirby and you won't regret it!....I've read some complaints on the internet about Kirby vacuums...too loud....heavy....and so forth....Trust me....It is quieter than my last vacuum...a lot quieter!...and my Kirby Sentria has a… read full review »

Kirby is a complete scam!!! I worked for Rick Smith of KIRBY OF CONCORD and got suckered into working there for two weeks and never even got a paycheck!! The Kirby Sentria vacuum is great, the attachements are great, you have a vacuum, a blower, and a shampooer all in one. It's very pricey, but it should be the only vacuum that you will need to buy. Kirby is supposed to have a service, where they will bring your Kirby back to life (like new), if it breaks on you. Mine hasn't broken yet, so I can't say if that service is true or not. The salesman was good....too good obviously....I bought one! I will be making payments on this thing forever....which makes me sick whenever I think about it, but I guess the saying is true...you get what you pay… read full review »

I love my Sentria... It is so easy to use and to change from the brush to the hand held hose to the shampooer. It is easy to operate and the new drive feature is awesome. It virtually moves itself with just a simple push. I cleans so well and the bags literally last forever. I have had mine for about 9 months or more and have only changed the bag once. I have shampooed my dad's carpets, spot cleaned my carpet and have even taken it to work with me and shampooed my carpets there. I absolutely love this product. I wish I had gotten some more of the attachments and am looking to invest in them down the road. I love the shampoo feature - does a remarkable job on the rug and is easy to use! The only thing I have issues with remembering is to undo the belt before trying to take it off - that is just my own oversight and am not sure if other people forget as well. I highly recommend this product as I have never been so amazed at something that cleans so well. I like clean, but am not what I would call myself a clean freak. I bought the Kirby recently and i have found that it is a wonderful, multi tasking piece of equipment that will tackle pretty much anything you want it to do. I live in the country and its always dusty and have pets in and out of my house as well. This Kirby while it is expensive it is also dependable and will outlast any other vacuum ive ever purchased. The kirby is the best thing to own! The vacuum does a great job but the steam cleaner is even better. A member of my family is relocating and had to get the house ready to put on the market to sell. The carpet in one of the bedrooms we thought was beyond cleaning and would have to be replaced. We thought we'd buy the cleaning solution and use the Kirby before making the expense.
