I using Kaz Steam Activation Inhalant with my Vicks Vaporizer!

5

I absolutely love soothing scents, I love candles, air fresheners, anything that has a wonderful scent! I just think it makes my home more cozy and inviting. One of my favorite scents is the Vicks like scent- menthol with a touch of lavender. It's so soothing to me. I bought my Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizer to quell the dry heat in my first apartment. My first apartment was small and stuffy, plus the heat was drying out my nose and throat. So my mom told me to go get a vaporizer or humidifier. I picked out the Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizer because of my love of Vicks. When I saw that you could add the Kaz Steam Activated Inhalant, I was really excited. It's just so relaxing to put on the Vicks Warm Steam Vaporizer with the Kaz Steam Activation Inhalant when your all stuffed up or if the heat in your home is causing your nose and throat to get dry. The scent is calming and soothing. Just picture relaxing on the couch with your vaporizer going and the scent of Vicks flowing through the room calming your nose and comforting you while the snow falls outside. Isn't that just cozy!?! That's why I love Kaz Steam Activation Inhalant oil. It's not just a menthol scent, it also has hints of Lavender and other oils. It's just great, so I hope you get a chance to try it!

Great for congestion

4

I purchased the kaz inhalant steam activation to go with my children's humidifer's and they work great together. Whenever someone has a cold or is congested I simply plug up the humidifer and add a little kaz inhalant to the top of the humidifer and it helps to release a menthol vapors into the air to help clear congestion and clear up coughs. Kaz is the only brand that I have used in our humidifers. They are very well priced-not pricey at all-so this kaz inhalant is something that definitely should be kept on hand-especially if you have children. It is very easy to use, the product is a clear liquid but is like a greae based product but smells great-if you like that menthol smell. I like to add the kaz inhalant to the humidifer and rub them with vicks vapor rub which also has a menthol smell to it and they get the job done. My children are usually back to normal in no time at all. Great product.

Kaz Inhalant is the most cost effective way to get menthol scent

I own (and now love!) the [Vicks V150 1.5 Gallon Humidifier][1] . I found some of this Kaz steam-activated inhalant on clearance and thought I would try it. My little boy has terrible hayfever in the spring and fall, which results in a stuffy nose every night for about 6 months out of the year. Needless to say, we use the humidifier a lot, and have tried various menthol products. This little bottle of Kaz Inhalant only works on Kaz/Vicks Humidifier with the little depression to hold the inhalant. That said, I think it's the least expensive and least messy way to use menthol. The chest rubs are so messy, especially on little kids. The Vicks Waterless Vaporizer uses scent pads, which work great, but only for one day and are TERRIBLY expensive. This one bottle of inhalant lasts for several weeks when used every night.  At least for the humidifier I have, you have to use way less of the inhalant than the bottle says. The little depression doesn't hold much, which is a drawback because the scent doesn't last all night. The mineral oil base doesn't evaporate, so you have to clean it out somehow. Also, it does tend to ooze down inside the unit and eventually makes its way into the water basin.  Overall, I would recommend this inhalant if you need it. It's not the most convenient way to get a menthol scent, but it is the most cost-effective way. [1]: http://www.viewpoints.com/Vicks-V150-1-5-Gallon-Humidifier-reviews

Kaz is an oil laced with aromatics like menthol, lavender, peppermint and mint. It's designed to go in the cup now on most heated vaporizers. You just pour a tablespoon or so - whatever will fit in the little cup thing - and turn on the vaporizer. The steam carries the aromatics throughout the house. My son thinks this stuff smells great. Right after I got some, he came in and said, "Yum. What's for dinner?" Poor kid. Nothing. Mom wasn't feeling well. So I told him the bad news. He still liked the smell. It's similar to Vics Vaporub. I'm all clear now, but my son is stopped up. I asked him if he wanted me to run the vaporizer and put in some Kaz. He did. It does seem that Kaz helps. It doesn't hurt anyway. And, the house smells nice in a Vics sort of way. The mineral oil does not evaporate away like water. So, you have to wipe out the cup with a cotton ball. That's a bit messy. But I do it. It just seems like the vaporizer is doing more when you can smell something in the air.
