I received a free sample of Clean & Clear Finishes Pore Perfecting Cleanser with my purchase of Clean & Clear Deep Action Cleanser Considering the fact that I HATED the deep cleanser I wasn't in any hurry to try the pore cleanser. Yet, being the type of person that can't resist anything that's offered for free, I had to give it a shot. This Pore Perfecting Cleanser is a member of the Finishes line from Clean & Clear, which was released back in the Spring of 2010. Within this line are moisturizers and various types of cleansers that are infused with pore-perfecting minerals. They have all been designed to keep skin super clean and give it a flawless appearance. Effectiveness After using Clean & Clear Pore Perfecting Cleanser just once, I thought my face felt cleaner than it had before. I found that you don't have to use very much of this product at a time to get your face feeling clean, and It lathers VERY WELL. Ease of Application A small drop in your hand is enough to thoroughly clean your face and neck and leave it (literally) squeaky clean. It removes all trace of dirt and oil from your skin, and actually leaves my normally oily skin feeling 100% oil free! In fact, my skin was so removed of oil I had to apply a moisturizer afterwards because my skin felt a bit 'too' tight. Scent There is just one flaw with Clean & Clear Pore Perfecting Cleanser. The scent is not pleasant. If I were to try to describe the scent of this pore perfecting cleanser it would be...dirt. The smell is not enjoyable and each time I use this product I try to use it as quickly as possible to get the scent off of my face! Which is a shame because it really does feel good to wash with, and the unpleasant scent doesn't stay on your face once you wash it off...it's just getting through the process of using it. After it's all over with, it does leave your skin feeling wonderful. If the scent was improved, this would be one of the best face washes I've ever used. My recommendation is that they make the scent as pretty as the packaging looks. In spite of the scent, I would still recommend Clean & Clear Pore Perfecting Cleanser because it's suitable for all skin types, it's oil-free, it's affordable, and gets the skin CLEAN.

I bought this product mainly because of the major price cut of this product. I usually tend to buy facial washes with exfoliating beads since I like to give my face a little scrub, but this product does not have it. While this is so, the product leaves my skin very soft and smooth at the end, which is something most of the face washes I've used do not do. It is actually amazing since I do not need to put on an added moisturizer to rid the dry, cracked skin feeling from other face washes I've tried. I have combination skin, where my cheeks can get pretty dry and cracked while my nose area is oily. This product evens out the oils on my skin and leaves it to perfection. The product is true to its words that it doesn't clog pores.This is the main reason why I give this product an above average rating. Plus, the face wash smells great! It is a gentle sweet smell that in my opinion, is quite soothing. The scent isn't strong and overwhelming either. All in all, I am not sure of the efficacy, because I never am really too sure about any of the face washes I use. I just like the idea of my face possibly being cleaned. I haven't noticed any clearing of my skin from blemishes, but I do not believe this product is meant to do that. So if you are looking for an acne clearing face wash, this one is probably not the one for you. If you are merely looking to wash your face without having any skin drying, this is probably the one for you.  Effectiveness Watch out for overdrying your skin with this!

I love this cleanser.  I have oily acne prone skin that can also get too dry in areas, so it is hard for me to find facial products that work.  I've had allergic reactions to Oxy and Proactive.  I was nervous to try this cleanser, but I've been using it daily for about a month without any sensitivities.  I use it with Clean & Clear moisturizer and have not had any issues with over drying.  I love the way it makes my skin feel.  It makes my skin feel very smooth.  It's also a pretty affordable price and you can even find coupons often in the paper or on Clean & Clear's website.  I have patches of redness on my face that have lessened since using this product.  It has made a huge difference in evening my skintone.  I have gotten a lot of compliments on my skin's improvement after using this cleanser.  It has even lightened up the acne scarring I've had since I was a teenager.  This is my favorite cleanser.

When I first saw this product in an ad in a magazine, I thought it was just some other cleanser for oily skin, nothing special. I was wrong. To start, the color is gorgeous, the bottle and the cleanser itself. THe cleanser is pretty thick in its consistancy but not too thick that you have to push hard on the pump in order to get it out. Not much is needed in order for it to be effective. The color is a combination of gold frost w/ a hints of light purple. Very pretty. The scent is not overpowering, slightly green/floral. This product rinses very easily while using it. Does not leave my skin feeling dry, unlike some oily skin cleansers. Yet it doesn't leave it greasy either. The bottle is a translucent purple,too, something I love. It makes it so easy to see when you are running low on this cleanser. I've tried many a facial cleanser over the years and I'm happy t have found one that has finally worked.

Since I was looking for a new facial cleanser and had several high value Clean & Clear coupons, I decided to try this product.  I admit I was intially attracted by the pretty purple bottle, but  fortunately I found that what's inside the bottle is really amazing!  The cleanser has a pleasant, smooth and luxurious texture.  It creates a nice, rich lather with just a small bit of product.  The scent is very pleasant, without being overpowering or irritating.  I am easily irritated by strong smells, so this was important to me.  I also have sensitive, combination-type skin and have had a hard time finding a product that cleans well without drying out my skin.  After using this cleanser, my skin feels clean and smooth, and not dry at all.  I will definitely continue to use this product!  I am a picky and budget-conscious consumer, so it's great to find a facial cleanser that is effective, pleasant, and a great value.

I recently decided to try this product because I had coupons and it was on price cut at my favorite retailer.   I have non teen skin, but yet still break out from time to time.  Immediately I loved the pretty purple color of the bottle and the silver sheen to the cleanser. It has a nice scent and feels refreshing and gel like  when applied. It is an oil free product that cleans your skin deep down in the pores  without drying it out.  After rinsing, it leaves my skin feeling soft and clean.  My pores actually do appear to be smaller and less noticeable.  It comes in an 8 oz bottle which is enough cleanser to last awhile. I leave it sitting out on the counter because the color of an the cleanser and bottle actually look pretty in my bathroom. Clean and Clear has a large line of cleanser for all kinds of skin types, but I feel this particular cleanser is best for people who have occasional break outs but also need to worry about drying out their skin.
