This has been my little boy's favorite toy for quite some time. We have bought him several sets now and even visited the Mr. Potato Head store in Walt Disney World! He learned all about body parts by playing with Mr. Potato Head. He loves to put the pieces on over and over again and could play with this toy for hours! He is not as verbal as most 3 year olds, but this toy has gotten him talking about colors and clothing (hats, etc) and facial features (blue eyes, pink ears, etc). I remember playing with Mr. Potato Head when I was a child.  Now that I have two children myself, I absolutely adore watching my children play, create, and enjoy things that I loved myself.  We have several themed heads, and a few of the accessory packs and my girls (who are aged one and three) will sit and play for hours, creating new "people" and acting out different scenarios.  My one year old has no trouble putting the pieces together (although we usually end up with three sets of eyes, one arm, and shoes on top of the head kind of guys...I call them Mad Scientists sometimes when they are...

Mr. Potato Head has been a fav for many years. We love him and everything he carries with him. I have 5 children ages 0-1-4-7-11 and they all love to play with him. He has large part that the baby can hang on to, also the 1 year old can put them in all by her self. THe 4 year old can build him in all diffrent ways. I love him for the little ones learning body parts or even clothes names and colors!
