This is a Great No frills 1080p Monitor! I purchased it on sale for roughly 170. It was easy to set up, and it is my first 1080p computer monitor. Admittedly, I do not understand color reproduction too well, so I cannot comment on that. As I am not a photo professional, I find that it doesn't matter. The screen is large, and the paint is a shiny black which I enjoy. It gives the monitor a premium look to it. Besides, who would be afraid of fingerprints smudging on it because well, who really moves their monitor around that often? The built in speakers are, as expected, poor. It sounds like a very loud iphone, and since tehre is no bass, sounds have a very sharp and piercing quality to them. That is pretty much my only qualm with this otherwise great monitor. Also, it does not have vertical adjustment, but most entry monitors do not have this anyway. It is a shame, as my 2 monitor set up does not sit correctly because of this.

I bought this television in January from Costco.com as I couldn't find the item in the warehouse. I was a bit skeptical of ordering without seeing it in person first, but based on reviews of it I thought I'd give it a shot. I paid 199.00 for the television, (excluding tax, but including delivery), and it has been great. It is very lightweight and extremely easy to set up. For the price I paid for this television, it is beyond my expecations. The brightness of the picture is very nice, the functions on the tv are easy to use, and the volume output on this television is great. I have often had trouble with other flat screen televisions with audio output being insufficient, but this has not been a problem with this tv. I have not experienced Hannspree as a television brand I would normally see; I believe the televisions are fairly new to the market (don't hold me to that). So far I haven't been disappointed with it's increased market beyond that of LCD computer monitors.

This TV is nice and is perfect for a dorm room. The quality is not CRAZY high, as it is still a TV, but with some adjusting of the colors, you can make it nice. You can connect your laptop or desktop computer to it and use it as a monitor, but it wont beat a dedicated monitor. Especially LED-backlit or IPS panels, but it does do double duty as both a TV and monitor. The set itself is decently thin enough and the screen is matte, meaning it won't reflect light as much as a glossy screen or have as many fingerprints. The menu is a bit hard to navigate, but it gets easier as time goes on. This screen NEEDS to be calibrated as when it comes out of the box the colors aren't as nice. The brand is not as well known as Sony or Vizio, but this is a legitimate company that originated in China. Hanns-G, their better known name, produces many things including laptops and other electronics in Asia, but is a very reputable company.

I received this TV about a week ago for Christmas. So far, I love it! The colors are very bright and intense, and the resolution works great both as a computer monitor, as well as for video games and watching movies. The screen is very clear and doesn't blur at all. The internal menu is well laid out and easy to view and understand. The TV itself is very light and portable, which was important to me after our previous giant plasma monitor that would be a two-strong-men ordeal to move every time. In addition, the sound from the speakers sounds very good to me. The TV controls, both on the side of the TV and with the included remote are both intuitive and easy to use. The big buttons on the remote are actually a plus to me as well. The TV itself is a beautiful, slick, black and looks great on my desk.  One possible con could be that the high resolution here seems to make it so that the graphics in older gaming systems seem to look worse on this television than they do on older, lower quality, TV sets.
