I really love fresh vegetables, but when I don't have the time to buy and prepare them, I turn to Green Giant Simply Steam Seasoned Garden Vegetable Medley. All you do is microwave them and you have a great dish of vegetables! 'Garden Vegetables' includes green beans, potatoes, and red and green peppers. The seasoning is excellent and gives this dish a great flavor. The vegetables have great flavor and texture, and you really can't tell that they were frozen. This makes an excellent side dish with virtually any meat!

Green Giant Simply Steam Seasoned Garden Vegetable Medley is pretty good for a frozen vegetable. I love the convenience of steaming right in the bag, and the seasoning is delicious without being too salty. The only improvement could be for the vegetables to be less mushy, but I think that is pretty typical of all frozen vegetables.

If you are someone who is looking for a fast and easy way to get more vegetables in your diet, this is a great product.  I love the new Green Giant Simply Steam because they are so easy to make and come out tasting like you have been cooking for a while.  You just pull the bag from the freezer, pop it in the microwave for a few minutes and you have great tasting vegetables, it couldn't be easier.  I love the Garden Vegetable variety because it is a great mixture of corn, peppers, and peas in a great seasoning.  The seasoning adds just the right amount of flavor and spice to the vegetables and once you stir, there is enough seasoning for every bite of veggies.  This is a great meal solution when you are in a hurry and is an easy dish to make for a side to any dinner.  I love it because the veggies are not only good for you, but they taste great and are so easy to make.

Just had a bag for dinner.  Makes an excellent side dish with no preparation work required just pop in the mirowave for six minutes cut open and serve. The red potatoes, red peppers, and green beans make a bright and colorful presentation on the plate paired with a chicken breast and hot roll with butter. The side dish is very well seasoned and tastey. All of the vegetables are firm and not mushy. The sauce is good but a little lean as there should have been more of it. As far as content the packets will serve two if only used as a side dish. I would have liked to have had maybe some pearl or red sweet onions and garlic among the vegetables (maybe someone from the company might read this review, hopefully). I purchased the product since the local grocery store was running a buy one get one sale and the price was right.  I don't normally go for mircowave fast food very often but since, this is my first time trying this product I will say I will purchase it again.

I have been using Birdseye Steamfresh vegetables lately but I thought I would try Green Giant Simply Steam corn and see if that was better.  It is NOT!  I purchased the niblets corn, 9 ounce package.  First, it was easy enough to cook, just put it in the microwave and heat on high for 3-5 minutes.  That is a big range so it takes a lot of guesswork to figure out the right time.  It is very HOT and dangerous to empty the corn into a bowl.  I had a hard time cutting the package open, it is made awkwardly.  It says to pull it open but that was too hard, and I was afraid I would spill the whole bag all over the place so I had to cut it open with scissors.  The corn tastes very chewy, like what my husband calls horse corn.  It was not sweet or tasty at all.  It was soggy tasting, not crunchy and crisp, like I expected. A long time ago I used to use Green Giant corn that was in sauce and it was good, but this corn is terrible.  I won't buy it again.  I recommend Birdseye Steamfresh corn, it is delicious.
