Most HelpfulAs some of you may know I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. This has messed up my metabolism so much that the smell of meat cooking is nauseating. While meatless burgers seemed the perfect answer most contain one, or more, of my numerous allergens. Finally I discovered Boca Burgers original flavor. These...

Most HelpfulBoca revolutionized the veggie burger a while back by developing this product. Before boca, we had Veggie Burgers, a funky patty of grains and veggies that often came out mushy and didn't taste anything like a burger. The first time I had a Boca Burger, after being a vegetarian for a few years, I freaked out because I thought I'd been served a beef burger. These babies are excellent at home for cooking - my favorite is vegetarian tacos (cook 'em in tequila and lime!) Their texture holds up and the flavor is a great conduit for herbs, spices and sauces.
Boca Burgers are a great product.
I have tried other veggie burgers and Boca is one of the best. They quick and easy to prepare and the best part is that my children do not realize they are veggie burgers. I have prepared them in different ways and my family enjoys them best when they are fried in a little olive oil and served as a burger or when I bake them in a brown gravy and searve on top of mashed pototoes. The product is also afordable. I recommend this product as a healthy but tasty alternative to regular burgers.
I gave up eating red meat several years ago, but once in a while, I get a craving for a cheeseburger. That's where Boca Original Vegan Meatless Burgers come in. Infamously known as the Boca Burger, this meatless soy protein patty is a healthy alternative to a fatty, calorie-laden, heart-clogging hamburger.
One Boca Burger contains only 70 calories, 0.5 grams of fat (zero trans fat), 4 grams of fiber, and 13 grams of protein. Compared to a regular hamburger, that is a HUGE difference in nutritional value.
Boca Original Vegan Meatless Burgers are sold in a box of four individually wrapped...
review »A vegan friend of mine, recommended Boca Burgers several years ago. I diet quite a bit, so the fact that they are very low in calories was a plus to me. I like to try new foods, so I gave the Boca a chance. To my surprise, these were delicious! When topped with your favorite condiments, they taste just as good (ok, maybe close) to fast food burgers, yet they are meat-free.
The great thing is that Boca is very heart healthy and has even been listed in the South Beach diet for anyone with caloric or medical concerns. Also, I like the fact that you can cook these patties in your microwave for a couple...
review »I'm a vegetarian, not a vegan, but I like to eat vegan when I can. Boca Burgers Original Vegan are tasty and easy to fix. I've had a meatloaf which included them, and it was good too. I usually just cook them in a skillet. I brown them in a little olive oil and cook them for the rest of the time on low heat with a little water. The package says a serving is one burger, but I eat two. I eat them once or twice a week.
I am not a picky eater and I don't know what picky eaters or non-vegetarians think of these. I have tried some other meatless burgers and so far these are the best.
Boca Burgers are good. Alot of my friends eat them. But as all packaged foods they are still processed and you have to watch out for sodium and other issues. Alot of people who first become vegetarian want to switch over to things like Boca burgers and other substitutes. But sometimes they can be worst than the meats you are getting away from. They are okay to eat sometimes but don't make them a habit or a replacement for eating meat frequently. But for the days you do want something a boca burger is quick and tasty and good texture. I can fix it and usually end up fooling someone who thinks...
